Space Requiem 04.11.2019

This is a track I created on my iPhone, which is a first for me. I love these old analogue synths. For a suitable image try: "Hourglass Nebula around a Dying Star." https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/spaceimages/details.php?id=PIA14442

Hot Metal 03.11.2019

I came across some British blues loops which I mixed with various other blues, rock and metal loops together with modern hammer blow beats to create this tribute to Smithies past and present. Image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blacksmith#/media/File:Blacksmith_working.jpg

City Of Dreams 02.11.2019

If you can get there, high up in the distant mountains, then your dreams will come true. The trouble is, none that enter the City Of Dreams ever leave... Created in Logic Pro X. All synths played by me.

Oh yeah! 26.10.2019

Electric guitar strumming (OMGuitar), some synths (Sunrizer) and some hip-hop beats. Oh yeah!

Antonia In Blue 19.10.2019

A space symphony named after a beautiful crater on the asteroid Vesta...which happens to share the same name as my daughter! Five synths, all played by me. Three from Novation Launchkey, and two from Sunrizer (strings, and space sine). Photograph: https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/spaceimages/images/largesize/PIA17662_hires.jpg

Aurora Australis 16.10.2019

The Southern aurora - the Aurora Australis - pictured near Lion Rock, Tasmania. Most of the track was created during a long weekend in Beechworth, Victoria. Guitar and final mix completed back home in Melbourne. Image: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Lion_Rock_and_Aurora_Australis.jpg

Warlock 06.10.2019

6th October, 2019 - I created this one a few weeks ago, forgot about, then played around with it a bit more (mainly adding some special effects and adjusting the mix). I hope you like it!

Tangerine Skies 05.10.2019

We're definitely not in Kansas anymore... I had fun creating this strange alien soundscape, I hope you enjoy it too. All synths played by me in Logic Pro X.

Robonaut 29.09.2019

For decades we humans have mostly sent robotic probes into space to do our space exploration for us, with the exception of the Apollo space program. In the coming decades humans will again explore space. But space is a harsh environment, and maybe the future truly belongs to Robonaut.

The Gift Of Love 21.09.2019

The best gift of all... This is one of my Apple loop compositions. Piano, strings, and flute. In this track I'm using only green instrument loops (as opposed to blue recorded loops, or drummer loops), which allowed me to copy and paste the piano instrument loops into the various string and flute instrument tracks, and so the string or flute instrument will 'play along' with the piano instrument tr...

Dark Affairs - with Milana Zilnik (piano) 13.09.2019

Milana Zilnik https://soundcloud.com/milanazilnik made her wonderful piano track available as an open collaboration, to which I've added bass guitar, (soft) lead guitar, glockenspiel and scattered drumming. https://soundcloud.com/milanazilnik/dark-affairs-by-milana-zilnik-video

Mythago 07.09.2019

Inspired by the mythic fantasy novel 'Mythago Wood' by English author Robert Holdstock. This is one of my Apple Loop mixes / compositions. Mandolin, acoustic guitar strumming, and drums. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mythago_Wood

Messed Up Music (play loud) 01.09.2019

A fast and furious fusion of Western dubstep and Indian traditional instruments or... Indian Dubstep! I got the title from an online Indian response to the question "Do Indians like dubstep?" The woman that responded said that Indian elders would call it "messed up music" but that, yes, Indians like dubstep. Best played loud. Another of my Apple loop mixes / compositions.

No Entry 31.08.2019

Mostly Japanese instruments blended with timpani, a harp, and a few synths. Another of my Apple loop mixes / composition. ------------ Art taken from Ken Ohyama, Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/20013727@N02/14142410678

A Distant Plain 30.08.2019

A fusion of Western rock and Middle Eastern instruments. One of my Apple loop mixes / compositions.

Otherland 26.08.2019

I'm celebrating 250,000 plays with this track (currently 249,783 as I write this...so in a day or two). All synths played by me in Logic Pro X. ---------- Cool 'Hulu Hoop' art from Tim Dorr, Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/timdorr/4028072200/

Gonna Rock, Gotta Rock 24.08.2019

Watching the Amazon burn in Brazil, it felt a bit like being a musician on the Titanic as I created this on our spaceship Earth. But...gonna rock, gotta rock.

East Meets West 18.08.2019

A fusion of Eastern (mainly Chinese) instruments and Western downtempo feel good funk rock. ---------- Image taken from 'China' by Dainis Matisons, Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dainismatisons/6302818553

Star Spawn 10.08.2019

Inspired by this artwork from Fantasy Flight Games I've created a non-profit metal tribute to the mighty star spawn from the Cthulhu Mythos. Like all my music, free to download.

Dance Of The Spirits 04.08.2019

A mix of synths and hip hop, with a macabre sense of otherworldliness. Enjoy.

The Adventurer's Gate 03.08.2019

This is the last of my four tracks inspired by The Fantasy Trip role-playing game from Steve Jackson Games. I've tried to give them all a sense of magic and fantasy, with a similar style. The adventurers arrive at the legendary magic gate, and bravely set forth into the underworld ready to take on anything. This is an original piece of fan work, free to download, created using Apple loops only in...

Power Of Magic 28.07.2019

My third track inspired by the retro tabletop roleplaying game The Fantasy Trip by Steve Jackson Games. This time I went deep electronica to explore the power of magic. This is a non-profit fan creation, and I have no association with Steve Jackson Games. The track, like all my tracks, is free to download (all rights reserved). This track was created using Apple loops (only) in Logic Pro X.

Decks Of Destiny 28.07.2019

My second track inspired by the roleplaying game The Fantasy Trip by Steve Jackson Games, which was first released in the 1970s and is undergoing a renaissance today. Created in using Apple loops in Logic Pro X. This track used to feature this Artwork: https://pxhere.com/en/photo/1387631 ------------ I also created a somewhat heavier track inspired by The Fantasy Trip that you can find here: https...

The Fantasy Trip 20.07.2019

Inspired by the tabletop roleplaying game of the same name, from Steve Jackson Games. One of my Apple loop mixes / compositions. --------- Artwork from: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b1/Trine_2_-_Searock_Castle_Octopus.jpg --------- I also created a somewhat chilled out follow up track (based upon an expansion set for The Fantasy Trip rpg) that you can find here: https://soundcl...

The Hunger 14.07.2019

Inspired by the 1983 film with the same name, starring Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Sarah Sarandon. I started with a couple of manually played electric bass tracks using iFretless Bass and two different amps from AmpKit. Then I added an iFretless Guitar track using a cool screeching lead guitar amp from AmpKit, and finally I customised a drummer track.
