Quantum Biology 05.01.2020 4:24
I first came across the concept of quantum biology through the book "Life on the Edge: The coming Age of Quantum Biology" by Johnjoe McFadden and Jim Al-Khalili. Prior to that, I'd read Johnjoe McFadden's "Quantum Evolution." This track was created on my iPad waiting at Perth domestic airport for a flight home to Melbourne, with the final mix being applied at home. ----- "Quantum biology refers to...
Proto Beat 03.01.2020 4:54
Imagine early humans discovering how to make music. In my head they’re sitting in a cave, and eventually (if you’re patient) you’ll hear that my cave dwellers do get their groove on. Oh, for some reason, I thought it would be fun to use primitive hip hop beats!
Ghosts of Years Past 31.12.2019 4:24
In the block universe the whole of Spacetime coexists, including the past, the present, and possibly the future too. Our lives are like threads woven in the tapestry of Spacetime. Here’s to the ‘ghosts’ of past years, haunting us always.
The Stars Are Veiled 30.12.2019 4:41
Deep ambient piece, full of mystery.
Monster From The Id 29.12.2019 4:58
It was the guitar amp sound that made me think of the Monster from The Id, from the 50s sci-fi classic movie Forbidden Planet. Rawarr! ———————— Image Bob Tarmac https://www.flickr.com/photos/bobtarmac/6287484534
Men Of The West (Our Doom Is Not This Day) 28.12.2019 4:04

We Are The Robots 15.12.2019 6:33
I was imagining a city of droids, robots and androids when I created this soundscape. All synths played by me in Logic Pro X. --------- Art taken from (and then edited) from here: Prank Sky Media - "We Are The Robots" https://www.flickr.com/photos/pranksy/5096787285
You Are My Falling Star 07.12.2019 3:19
Pianos, drums and sweet guitars - one of my Apple loop mixes / compositions. To be honest, I'm sure sure what the title means but it popped into my head so I stuck with it. It feels bitter-sweet to me. ------------------------ Image: "Falling Star" by Kenneth Lu, Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/toasty/1247049723
Incantation Of Beelzebub 30.11.2019 4:24
This track started with that dark heavy Sunrizer synth and then I built suitably dark and heavy - mainly dubstep - beats around it. It sounded like some evil magic incantation hence the title. Certainly not your average dubstep tune... 1st December 2019 - I just realised...this is my 1,200th track!
Black Hole Era 24.11.2019 6:31
The idea for this track came from watching on YouTube melodysheep's https://soundcloud.com/melodysheep excellent "Timelapse of the Future: A Journey to the End of Time." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD4izuDMUQA For more context I recommend reading about 'The Five Ages of The Universe' by Professors Fred Adams and Gregory P. Dark Tower 17.11.2019 5:50
This one has an epic goth quality to it, I hope you like it. I started the track with the Japanese String instrument in Logic Pro X, then added a couple of electric bass track, and lots of guitars and drums. Here's a much earlier track of mine that just uses the Japanese String instrument: https://soundcloud.com/dacca/japenese-flower-garden

Mosh Pit Dancers 10.11.2019 5:38
The backing track was created using Novation Launchpad, to which I added 4 lead guitar tracks (two using ThumbJam and AmpKit, two GB). Seemed kinda danceable to me, hence the title. I've been in quite a few mosh pits in my time. Image taken from (and then adjusted): https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/Heavy_Metal_im_Fantasy_05.jpg
Waves on the Shores of Life 09.11.2019 4:18
Hopefully you'll find this ambient piece as calming and reflective as I do. Created in Logic Pro X, all synths played by me.
