I first came across the concept of quantum biology through the book "Life on the Edge: The coming Age of Quantum Biology" by Johnjoe McFadden and Jim Al-Khalili. Prior to that, I'd read Johnjoe McFadden's "Quantum Evolution." This track was created on my iPad waiting at Perth domestic airport for a flight home to Melbourne, with the final mix being applied at home. ----- "Quantum biology refers to...

Imagine early humans discovering how to make music. In my head they’re sitting in a cave, and eventually (if you’re patient) you’ll hear that my cave dwellers do get their groove on. Oh, for some reason, I thought it would be fun to use primitive hip hop beats!

In the block universe the whole of Spacetime coexists, including the past, the present, and possibly the future too. Our lives are like threads woven in the tapestry of Spacetime. Here’s to the ‘ghosts’ of past years, haunting us always.

This track started with that dark heavy Sunrizer synth and then I built suitably dark and heavy - mainly dubstep - beats around it. It sounded like some evil magic incantation hence the title. Certainly not your average dubstep tune... 1st December 2019 - I just realised...this is my 1,200th track!

This one has an epic goth quality to it, I hope you like it. I started the track with the Japanese String instrument in Logic Pro X, then added a couple of electric bass track, and lots of guitars and drums. The backing track was created using Novation Launchpad, to which I added 4 lead guitar tracks (two using ThumbJam and AmpKit, two GB). Seemed kinda danceable to me, hence the title.
