February 21, 2024 - Instead of chasing after the false things of this world, go live in the new and better life that God gave us!

God is so rich in His love and provision for us. However, we struggle with worry that keeps us from seeing His goodness. This week we’ll look at how we let go of the weight of worry and release it to our God who provides for our every need. 

February 14, 2024 - In just one verse we see that our God takes away the chaos and destroys evil that seeks to destroy us.

The Gospel of Jesus changes us. Reflecting on that simple statement can bring forth a feeling of conviction (does my life reflect the change that Jesus produces in me?) and it can also be a great source of comfort (Jesus does the verbs here, and He has changed our eternity by His grace). As we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday, we look at the change that Jesus brings to the heart of the Christian.

Feburary 7, 2024 - We see God's wrath in Isaiah, but we know he still shows his mercy and love to us - he restores us.

This week, we explore the profound impact of money on our relationships, and we’ll see that trust lies at the heart of a healthy relationship with others and with God. Join us as we seek to embrace God's perspective on finances.

January 31, 2024 - God has a heart for the forgotten and uses them for His glory. Lucky for us, he also uses us to carry his name, to share his message with others.

We struggle with communication in so many ways. Whether it be not talking at all, manipulating those around us, or constantly criticizing, we make communication a Relationship Killer. However, Jesus invites us into a relationship with him where we have open communication with our creator, redeemer, and sustainer.

January 24, 2024 - We are a lot like Lot in that we cling onto our sin - we're not ready to let go and give all of our self to God. But thanks be to God for giving us mercy and taking us out of our sin each and every day.

Selfish pride tears at our relationships in that it prioritizes our desires over the needs of other people. To heal us, God sent Jesus to humble Himself on the cross. Now as Christians, we strife to emulate the love and selflessness of our Savior Jesus.

January 17, 2024 - Romans 1:28-2:1 This world is broken; our hearts are also broken and we are sinners just like everyone else. However, it is not our job to judge but to warn and point them to God's Word.

God created us with a desire for relationship. Yet, sin corrupts our good desires so that we seek to satisfy them in ungodly ways. January 10, 2024 - Temptation and sin do not want what's best for us - they want to destroy us. However, God's desire is for us to live and have eternal life. His word is not contrary to us, but always for his glory. Resource: Blue Letter Bible Blended Plan

This Epiphany, we have the chance to commit to a new year using our time, talents, and treasures for the glory of God. 

As we usher in the new year, we may be either excited or fearful of the changes ahead. However, in a time of uncertainty, we remember that though we enter into a new year, we have the same Jesus. He will never leave us nor forsake us.

December 13, 2023 - Joseph is a hero in the Christmas narrative. He faithfully stays by Mary's side, faithfully follows God's word, and faithfully raises Jesus. Thanks be to God for Joseph and Christian men and fathers who raise God fearing children.

How did the “Most wonderful time of the year” become the busiest time of the year? With a thousand asks every holiday season, it’s hard to find peace in the middle of it all. Jesus brings true peace which is wholeness in the chaos. 

December 6, 2023 - It is our natural desire to have more power - more money, more influence. God wants us to have power, but power to understand how wide and long and high and deep his love is for us.

The first Advent candle represents hope, an important theme of Christmas and something our world is in desperate need of today. Many people live without hope, have given up hope, or have placed their hope in wrong things. But the story of Scripture is that Jesus came at Christmas to fulfill hope and also to give us hope for the future.

November 29, 2023 -What does it mean to be faithful? It is to stand firm on the truth that is God's word. But are you being faithful in the message that you are sharing or in your method of delivery? Remain faithful in God's love and grace for us so that we receive the crown of life.
