In Acts 16, the Apostle Paul embarks on his second missionary journey and we see how the Lord guided him into situations where the Lord will add to the Kingdom of Heaven those who were being saved. We ultimately see there is nothing that can restrain the power of Jesus to seek and save the lost.

In Acts 15:36-41, we see how conflict can occur amongst even the most devoted of disciples of Jesus. Yet, conflict doesn't need to lead to division, and instead be an opportunity to put on display the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In Acts 15 the Gospel of grace is put on trial. While this was a heated argument that could have split the Church, the leaders defended Grace from Scripture and extended grace to the new believers who God was calling from among the nations. In Acts 12:1-25, an angel of Lord delivers Peter from prison and execution, with a miraculous escape that left the king and his guards bewildered as to how Peter escaped.
