This week Steve taught in 2 Corinthians 5:11-21 about what it means to regard no one according to the flesh any longer and how focusing on being a new creation answers most of our problems. 

This week Steve continued in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 talking about the promises and assurances we have from the Lord about the future of our life and body and how we are to view and treat our body. 

This week Steve finished chapter 4 of 2 Corinthians looking at the present realities of the Gospel for a believer’s life which are the overflow of seeing Jesus and His Gospel as our treasure.

This week Steve taught out of 2 Corinthians 4:1-6 discussing the spiritual dynamics of how our heart is enlightened by the Spirit in the midst of the battle of our mind with the god of this world so Jesus can be Lord of our life and shine forth. 

This week Steve started a new series titled Not Just Human working through 2 Corinthians chapters 3-6. In this first message we explored the power of the Gospel to transform and truly set us free and that it is not about self help, but self death that leads us to glory.

Derek Brown brought us teaching on the 5 lessons from the life of Joseph to help us live with greater hope and vision.  

This week Steve concludes this series through the epistles of John discussing what we are to believe about material blessing, sickness and health and spiritual and emotional health. 

This week Steve taught out of 2 and 3rd John about what it means to walk in the truth and how we know we are walking in the Truth and the deep connection with joy and our need to learn to fight for joy. 

This week Steve finished our study in 1 John talking about the importance of assurance as related to faith and hope. We will cover 2 John and 3 John in the next 2 weeks. 

This first Sunday of 2023, Steve taught about the importance of beginning our day aligning with God’s assignment for our life. If we are unclear about our assignment our faith is overcome by the world rather than overcoming the world by faith. 

This week Steve taught out of 1John chapter 4 about how we all know we need love and know we need to give it, but need redemption with God to know He is love so we can grow in love. 

This week Steve was in 1 John chapter four and teaching on the important connection between discerning the Spirit’s voice and loving one another properly in the Body of Christ. 

This week Steve continued our series in 1 John and talked about our struggles to understand who we are and how we belong to each other and power of the Spirit to help us learn to abide and truly love one another and minister to one another in a transformative way. 

This week Brent Phillips spoke on living a life worth living. Looking at Ephesians 4:1,Hebrews 11:6, and Luke 12:48.

This Sunday Steve continued our series in 1 John and takes a deeper look at what it means to abide in Jesus and practice righteousness and wrestled with the question of whether we really want to be like Jesus and be holy. 

This week Steve taught in 1 John chapter 2 verses 18 through 29. In these verses John warns believers about the temptation of falling away from the faith and the importance of understanding the anointing of the Spirit and abiding in Jesus. 

This week Steve continued our series in 1 John dealing with chapter 2 verses 15-17 and how to learn to fight off the influence of the world and walk in the glorious will of the Father. 

This week Steve continued the series in 1 John chapter 2 verses 12-14, discussing the remedy for spiritual depression and the strength needed to live with faith and joy in the world.

This week Steve comes back to 1 John 2:6 and discusses three important faith questions we need to process to be moving and maturing into faith like Jesus.
