Followers of Jesus are citizens of God’s kingdom before we are citizens of any particular country on earth, and that makes us strangers, exiles, aliens—it makes us a bit peculiar.

We all base our lives on some kind of gospel—some form of good news. Counterfeit gospels never lead to life. But Jesus points us to the true, life-giving gospel message.
