The pandemic has hit many of us hard.  In fact, I think everyone has been revealed as suffering from some effects, and I'll get to that in a moment.  However, I do want to mention a possible upside to this bizarre and tragic time:  More of us know exactly what is at stake for the future...

You can’t get mad at someone for not fighting for their rights if you aren’t willing to fight for theirs. Heck, you can’t expect anyone to fight for you if you don’t do the same for them, either. People are also pinning too much of their hope to politicians and even to corporations themselves, rather than pooling their resources and creating alternatives from the bottom up.
