People want their lives to have value and a sense of meaning. To know that they're successful and leaving behind a legacy, but what does true success look like? There is a big difference between what the world defines as success and what God defines as success. 

What are you most desperate for, and what would it take for you to truly be satisfied? 

God disciplines those He loves. That statement might sound harsh depending on your view of discipline. For some of us that word triggers certain emotions and memories, maybe bad memories of abuse or pain.  The good news is that God is not like us. He is perfect and good. His discipline is not punishment and it's always for our good. 

Thomas Merton once said "The gates of heaven are everywhere if we have eyes to see." May we cultivate a spirit of awareness, so we don't miss the moments when God reveals Himself to us. 

Today we celebrate 4 years of ministry as Creekside Church! We share how God has moved since we launched, who we are as a church, and where we believe God is taking us. 

We want to see revival break out in our church but if we're honest sometimes the Church can  feel like a desert with no wells. It's time to start cultivating what God has already poured out on us through the gospel and His Spirit. It's time to break cycles, build, wells, and be with God!

Esau’s choice serves as a warning against choosing your greatest desires over your deepest desires. We all face this temptation in our lives, so how do we combat this?

Nothing happens by chance or coincidence. God isn’t passively sitting back and letting random things happen. He is actively working at all times before, during, after, in front of and behind the scenes. He is doing all of this to bring about His plans and His purposes in this world! Where in your life do you need His guidance, and will you surrender to His will for your life?

A life of faith fully devoted to Jesus will leave a legacy that outlives you. What will be said about your life?

D.L. Moody once said “the world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to Him.” The world desperately needs a church that has consecrated herself fully to the Lord. Will you join us and commit to consecrate yourself to the Lord?

1 Corinthians 6 tells us that we are not our own, that we've been bought with a price. Do you know what that price was and who paid it? Today we're take a brief break from our Genesis series to hear from Suzan Thompson. She is one of the pastors of a new church plant coming in 2024 called Deeper Church. 

When God tests, and strips away the things we are clinging to, do we still choose Him? Do you love Him so much that there is no way you would take anything this world has to offer over Him. Is His beauty and goodness what you crave and desire. 

As we experience more of Gods faithfulness it should result in us being marked by joy. Do you lack joy? Ask for the Holy Spirit to fill you and restore the joy of your salvation. 

Do pagans sometimes prove to be more faithful than we are?  Do non christians fear God more than we do? When we live by fear rather than faith we actually endanger ourselves and those around us. 

It’s easy to see the wickedness in Sodom and understand why God judged it, but… are we even aware of the wickedness that lives within us? 

In Genesis 18 God reveals His plan to destroy Sodom & Gomorrah to Abraham. Abraham wastes no time and begins to intercede for the city on behalf of any people that might be righteous in the city.  Does God find you righteous, and are you interceding for those far from Him?

When Abraham is visited by the Lord his immediate response was to serve Him. How should we serve the Lord?

Before Jesus ascended into heaven He told the disciples to wait for the promised Holy Spirit. Pentecost Sunday is when we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the church, and the advancement of the gospel to the nations. 

In Genesis Chapter 17 God appears to Abram and establishes His covenant with him. The sign of the covenant is a little strange, but often times living by faith can look strange and even foolish to the world. 

As we continue in our Genesis series, we are looking at the life of Abram and seeing how he responds through constant testing. Abram has been waiting on God to deliver on his promise for 10 years. We are a people who do not know how to wait well, so what does it look like to be people who are content and trust in God's plan?

If you’re living a life of real sold out faith then having doubt will be a normal part of the journey. Doubt in and of itself isn't sin, but what you do with your doubt makes all the difference. It can either deepen or destroy your faith. 

When you are victorious who gets the glory? You can either give glory to yourself, to someone else, or where glory is due. 

God is generous and always faithful to provide, but how do you respond in the waiting?  How do you respond when you receive His generosity?

The resurrection of Jesus is the most significant event in human history. It has changed everything and today we want to answer four questions you may have surrounding this massive event.  Is the resurrection reliable and believable? Was it necessary? What did it accomplish? And is following Jesus worth it?  

I once heard someone say that Abraham knew God the least but trusted Him the most. This is why Abraham is considering one of the great men of faith. As we’ll see in Chapter 12 when we choose to follow God it requires great faith, the road is long, and there’s always opposition.
