In my podcast, The Perception Hub and Breaking the Cycle, I discuss some spokes in the cycle of pain and what they all have in common. Thanks again for listening, and I look forward to resuming my podcast in late August/early September.

Heal from the Inside Out #13: Removing the Weeds of Regret 13.07.2024

Regret is a powerful emotion/feeling, but the path to freedom from its life-draining power is underneath its thoughts and perceptions. Underneath regret is the incorrect mental construct that experiences define us. Life events are signs to help us become more of who we truly are than less. As we learn from our experiences and apply them appropriately, we experience less regret and more compassion,...

Healing from the Inside Out: The Relationship Between Healing and Optimism 28.06.2024

When we seek the good in our experiences, we are not just optimistic; we align with the highest version of ourselves. Aligning with the truth within us helps us see beyond our experiences and embrace opportunities that bring out the best in us. Each path we take has something to teach us about ourselves and the barometer of our spiritual alignment. As we model behavior that supports the journey of...

The Seeds We Plant Series #40: Spiritual Awakening and Listening to Your Inner Truths 26.06.2024

Within you is the standard by which to measure all things. The emotional rollercoasters and unhealthy states of being are often due to aligning with the thoughts of the world instead of the core of your being. We align with our emotions, feelings, and experiences instead of the divine spirit within us that knows everything, is everywhere, and in all things. Children often see the world through tho...

Healing from the Inside Out: Parenting with Purpose 14.06.2024

It's easy to think at times that caring for a child may distract us from our purpose. Parenting responsibilities may seem to interfere with the work we want to do, and we don't realize that our children are here to help us fulfill our purpose (e.g., reminders of patience, discernment, replanting virtuous seeds, etc.), and along the way, we help them do the same. In addition, here is my lin...

I continue to work through potentially fearful moments and help my children do the same. Both have experienced fear, and it was great seeing th...

The Seeds We Plant Series #39: Personal Responsibility 17.05.2024

Personal Responsibility is accountability for one's actions, emotions, feelings, and thoughts. It is the foundation we stand firmly on when blame tempts us to align with it. We know that within us is the ability to master our minds and control our actions. Personal Responsibility doesn't seek to blame others; instead, we turn to our experiences and ask, "What must I learn from this moment in my li...

Heal from the Inside Out Series #8: Weed Out Anger 03.05.2024

If we are truly our thoughts, what is the use of uncontrolled, consistent anger? Anger often leads to unhealthy events within ourselves and the world. We don't have to be angry human beings. We can align with the divine spirit of who we are. The quieter we become, the more we feel and see that which does not belong. Become part of the spiritual movement of Remembering Who You Are. I share questions you can ask yourself to help break the generational cycle of pain of how we think about disease and illnes...

The Seeds We Plant Series #37: Listening to Your Body and Healthy Eating 11.04.2024

Millions of people struggle with achieving and maintaining optimal weight. As caregivers and parents, we can encourage our children to listen to their bodies to help them consume the right balance, moderation, and variety of foods. And as we teach our children about healthy nutrition, we reinforce the concepts within ourselves. Even when you think about the principle Hara hachi bu (residents of Ok...

In other words, being your best friend is critical to self-care and breaking the generational cycle of pain. https://mailchi.mp/fe2da5c9163a/seven-spiritua...

Healing from the Inside Out Series #5: Trust Yourself 22.03.2024

In Healing from the Inside Out Series #5: Trust Yourself, I share how trust is critical in overcoming darkness. The more we build our trust in ourselves, the more we can help future generations do the same. When we trust ourselves, we speak up for ourselves and others. We see different paths instead of feeling stuck. We increase our chances of doing the right thing at the right time and often avoi...

When we remove guilt from our inner garden, our Healing from the Inside Out Series #4: Removing Guilt Weeds, I discuss guilt and how we must assess our inner garden for this often debilitating and life-draining state. See shame for what it is and refuse to allow it to grow inside of you. doesn't It may look...

Regarding projected pain, it is better to give back than receive. When you experience anger, jealousy, shame, guilt, and the like, or when your emotions and feelings go to another level (e.g., blaming, badgering yourself and others in thoughts and words, and unwelcome or unhealthy physical contact), you continually grow the seeds inside you.  We can return angry, hateful, divisive, and demoralizin...

Healing from the Inside Out Series #2: Mastering Anger 02.03.2024

Our perspective about a life event often shows us our underlying beliefs about ourselves, others, and life. As students of life, we can look at our experience with an awakening. Every life event serves a divine purpose. Each experience is an opportunity to replant the spiritual seeds (kindness, joy, love, and the like) inside us instead of allowing weeds (harmful/unhealthy thoughts) to rob us of a...

The Seeds We Plant#31: Fuel for the Body 29.02.2024
