Crappy Anime Showdown

It was an absolute blast to go back and watch one of Sean Connery's most quotable movies. You should absolutely watch this movie if you have not already.

This may very well be the penpenultimate episode of CAS as we know it. So make sure to listen a few times!

If there is only one piece of advice I can you viewers before you listen to this wpisode it is this: go watch of of Seven Spellblades in English dub. This episode has us find out if in hidsight either J or Ethan regret having chosen Gene of A.I. or if they made the right call. We also hardly mention Dune or Wabi Sabi, so we got that going for us.

On this episode of Would you Like some Wabi with that Sabi, we talk about what it ruly means to have the feeling of wabi sabi. We also talk about Dune and Agatha Christie books and movies. If you listen closely you can even here us talk about the two anime in the title.

Just hit play already so you can witness 3 men get excited over a terribly bad and funny anime. And also a chance at a rare occurrence of an epic finale. All because 2 out of the 3 of us watched the wrong anime!

All i can say is I hope you like rants and heated arguments about what makes good sci-fi. Oh and something about alchemy I guess.

We are back baby!!! We finally got an anime worth talking about because it is bad that it is enjoyable. It is the truest of darkhorses! I am going to stop typing now so that you just click the play button amd enjoy a very fun episode!

This episode features Sean Connery's last live action role of League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vs a very depressed girl who projects her alcoholism and depression onto her extremely large cat. I can tell you one of these made us laugh more and more while we talked about it while the other was just mediocre. Also we may watch League of Extraordinary this season just for fun.

The episode title screams tell me you didn't talk about the anime without telling me you didn't talk about the anime. Regardless, this was a fun episode full of us riffing on anime adjacent topics. I hope you can enjoy this one!

In today's episode we discuss how spoilers should not ruin your viewing experience. In light of that I can tell you we did not pick Tiny Senpai this season. And we do select 2 pseudo intellectual garbage anime. No give a listen to see how we round out the lineup!

Well suffice it say when you mash up a mediocre anime style show with idea bankrupt universe you get an even worse show than you could have imagined. It bores us at every turn while managing to make less and less sense as it goes on. The only saving grace: we barely talk about it. So enjoy the verbal bashing and the wacky arguments galore!

This episode is just full of J getting madsr and madder at all of the dissapointment these anime bring us. We also get a surprise end debate about Justice League. I promise it is not about what you think it is though so stick around to hear that!

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Space Nazis the Anime. Need I say more?

A hefty dose of a misogynist pitted against Otaku apologism. We tackle things such as consumption vs creation and lack of agency for female characters. This episode is mainly just us venting our frustration and using these anime as prime examples. Come get frustrated with us!

Glass shatters This episode was absolute hell in a cell. There were tables ladders and chairs being thrown everywhere. I was stunned when Ethan almost convinced J to change his mind. I thought we might have hit rock bottom at one point. But in the end one champion emerged. You van take that money and stick it in the bank. Royal Rumble.

Me: Mom can we get Devil is a Part Timer and Pokemon? Mom: We have Devil is a Part Timer and Pokemon at home. Those anime at home: Literally these two anime. It was like watching the tattoo version of someone who says there tattoo means "Spirited warrior" when it really means "Closeted Crochet Fiend". Regardless it was a pretty entertaining time and we hope you enjoy.

I am only going to say this once, if you like Trigun Stampede at all you have no reason at all to listen to this episode. That is my fair warning to you all. If you fid not like it however come and listen to see if your least favorite parts matched up with ours. Spoiler alert, the entire thing was our least favorite part.

It is a short episode. If you are a long time fan you probably know that means we tried our best but could still barely fill the time. We were given Durian and were told to make lemonade.
