It seems normal and justified today to have anger and even hatred against those who want to do us harm, but Jesus taught that loving our enemies and praying for those who want to hurt us is the very thing that proves we are His children.

Culture would have us believe that you can have Jesus fit into your life, but Jesus demands that He become the single purpose of your life.

In a world that wants to erase Hell or the thought of any afterlife that isn’t pleasant, Jesus was very straight forward in saying that anyone who does not surrender their life in obedience to God will go to hell after death.

We can dance around it, we can try not to talk about it, we can even try to dress it up, but the fact remains that Jesus made no bones about telling the world that He was the one and only way to God.

In the early days of Christianity the gospel spread like wildfire through the nations, changing mens hearts and shaping the spiritual landscape of the world. What hinders the spread of the wildfire today?

Our faith in Christ is meant to be a dangerous faith, a wild faith. A faith not bound by this world or the people in it. Why have we become ok with a domesticated faith, a faith that hinges on our circumstances and not on our creator?

The Holy Spirit is said to bring great power to the lives of believers, but there seems to be a disconnect in many of our walks today. How do we reconnect with Our Wild Spirit?

We bow the knee to a King who is wild and free. A King whose name is above all names and who’s presence shakes the very gates of hell. Why is it that we have tried to clip the nails of our Lion hearted King?

We serve a wild and mysterious God who reveals Himself through His Word and His creation. When we put limitations on who our God is and what our God is capable of we stand in defiance of His own nature.

It’s time to take back the identity that this world has stolen from you. You have worth, you have value you have a name and a purpose, its time to serve your old identity an eviction notice.

We all change, but we don’t all change strategically. Strategic change is hard and it involves discipline, sacrifice, consistency and faith. But true change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.

When we allow everything apart from God to define our worth we will always be fighting an uphill battle which will lead to a hollow victory. After fighting this battle we begin accept the apparent fact that we have no value. What do you do when you have become comfortably numb?

In our constant search for significance it seems like everyone and everything wants to try and inform us of our own personal worth. The question is, are we significant because of what we do or what we have, or should our identity be wrapped up in something greater?

We affirm that grace is the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners through the blood of Jesus Christ.

We affirm that repentance is the abandoning of ones sin and the turning of one towards the forgiveness of Christ.

We affirm that prayer is the way in which man communicates with his Creator. And we affirm that prayer moves the heart of God to act of behalf of His creation.

We affirm that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is one in essence and three in person.
