Covenant Grace Sermons

The hope of the Shepherd-King who will keep His promises, shepherd His people, and destroy his enemies to deliver His remnant oppressed people.

The latter days will bring a fulfillment of the covenant God made with Abraham. The weak and weary of the nations will be gathered to the LORD for salvation. These will have peace and they will worship the one true God.

The church is built on the revelation of Jesus to the glory of the Father by the Spirit through the ordinary means of grace.

Members of Christ’s body are born again into a New Covenant community to wield the keys of the Kingdom and live together in loving unity.

Restore to Me the Joy of Your Salvation

After David's sin with Bathsheba, David prayed for God's mercy based upon His character, as well as forgiveness, restoration, and renewal. 

While false teachers devour and lead people astray, and will be unheard in the day of judgment, true teachers will be empowered by the Spirit of God who will mete out justice to His people.

Those who walk uprightly will be oppressed and God, the righteous Judge, will judge the oppressor and will be a Shepherd and Deliver to the oppressed.

As the patient Judge tells why He will judge, we must wail over the sin that He reveals and the consequences that they bring and, by faith, turn to God in repentance.

The LORD, the Judge who scatters His people for their transgressions and sins, is also the Shepherd-King who in covenant faithfulness gathers, protects, and forgives them.

The revelation of the person and work of Jesus Christ is the center of the church and the heart of our faith.

We watch and beware the leaven of false teaching by beholding and knowing Jesus by faith.

Jesus goes up a mountain as the true temple to create a new people from every tongue, tribe, and nation

Jesus is the Good Shepherd who finds his lost sheep by turning dogs into children through faith alone.

Those who cling to the law distort it to their destruction, but Jesus came to cleanse the hearts of law-breakers who cling to him alone.

Jesus is the New Exodus and our Redemption. He is life and he calls you to come and have life in him.

Those closest to the kingdom and grace of God are most prone to faithlessness. Come to the dishonored Prophet and find life.

The kingdom of God is more valuable than anything and disciples of the kingdom give everything to have it.

Though small and insignificant, the Kingdom of God will persevere to the end and fill the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God.

The Word of God brings the Kingdom of God by revealing the Son of God and saving His people by faith.

The church is a messy place. But it's also the object of God's amazing love and that makes church an amazing place.

Praying for the Ministry of the Word

All of work should be done to the glory of Christ, not to earn a reward from him, but because he has already earned an eternal reward for us.

In Zechariah 4 we see a glorious vision of that God is doing to build his church by his Spirit and through his Word.

The Christian family seeks to find it's hope in Christ and live according to his Word.
