Covenant Children
Covenant children are defined in the Bible as the offspring of believers, who are considered "holy" or set apart by God (1 Cor. 7:14). They are viewed as members of the covenant community, often marked by baptism, and are to be raised in the fear of the Lord. This status brings both the privilege of belonging to the church and the responsibility to eventually make a personal profession of faith.

The goal for these sermons is to lead us to recognize that God is doing something fundamental and foundational through our households, because Christ...
Yes, Your Child is Different: The Promise to Covenant Children (Part I ) 22.02.2026 46:42
Having wrapped up our series in 1 Peter, we will be beginning 2 Peter shortly – but first, we'll take a brief detour to consider the place of our "covenant children." I planned this out several months back, because the standing of our covenant children is so foundational to our church and households. It is also a major reason I came over to the Presbyterian side of the isle! I had originally plann...
