We consider the second key foundation of the doctrine of the Trinity. Scripture identifies the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit each as the one and only God.

We are exploring the three key Biblical foundations that undergird our doctrine of the Trinity. Today, we consider the first foundation: monotheism. Scripture declares that there is only one God. There is one divine being, substance or essence.

We conclude our studies in Jude's epistle with a reflection on the eternality of God. God is who he is, "before all time, and now and forever."

John 3:16 is a popular text, known by many but not always well understood. Here, we investigate this "golden verse", breaking it down to consider afresh the glorious gospel it proclaims.

As he often does, Paul greets Philemon with a benediction, "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
