The last episode of the Spring semester features student host Sam Schauer interviewing Ted Heeren, a COJO graduate and the founder and creative director of Fresh Produce, an advertising and marketing agency in Sioux Falls.

Our last episode of the fall semester features Steve Erpenbach, president and CEO of the SDSU Foundation and an alum of the school, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in journalism in 1985.  Student host Sam Schauer was able to talk with Steve before the Thanksgiving break. Coffee with COJO will be on hiatus until the beginning of the spring semester in January.

This week, our guest is COJO instructor Jade Larson.  Jade joins the faculty after completing her Masters degree in Communication and Media Studies last Spring.  Student host Sam Schauer was a student in Jade's public speaking section when she was a graduate student. This week, our guest is 1987 journalism alum John Mollison .  John is the host of " Old Guys and their AirPlanes ," an award-winning video series that has been broadcast on PBS.  He is also a writer and artist known for his work recreating images of military aircraft.  John spoke with student host Sam Schauer earlier this week. We start this new fall season with a new host, Sam Schauer. Sam is a sophomore journalism and communication studies double major and also the news director for KSDJ, the student radio station.  Sam will be hosting Coffee with COJO for the Fall 2021 semester, so listen in and get to know a bit about our new student host. Our final episode of the semester features our school director, Dr. Lyle Olson.  Dr. Olson is retiring this summer, and student Jonathan Gouger spoke with him about his career and accomplishments and what the future holds. Coffee with COJO will be on hiatus over the summer, with new episodes this August.
