After a few year hiatus, Conversation on the Record is back! Host Sarah Rene takes it back to the start, once again sitting down with John Baumann to talk his latest release "Guy on a Rock".

Sarah met up with singer/songwriter Van Darien, back in December 2019, to talk about her new record "Levee". They dive into the story of each song, and the piece by piece process of recording this record. Vanessa shares the story behind each song, including a song her dad helped co-write, as well as songs written with long-time friend Maren Morris.

Ahead of their show at Billy Bob's Texas, Sarah sits down with Micky & Gary Braun of Micky & the Motorcars to talk about their new record "Long Time Coming'". They talk about what made the project different and the background behind each song.

Jamie Lin Wilson sits down with Sarah at Fort Worth Live (with a little "background noise" from the club downstairs) to talk about her new record "Jumping Over Rocks" and idea to really give this project a vibe and a sound that would stand out from her previous albums.
