It was only natural that we moved onto the book of Jude, especially in the run up to Christmas.

Considering we took so long working through Matthew, this week we had the priviledge to say we worked through an entire book in one sitting. Well it was the smallest in terms of verses. Mark our Associate Pastor led the way through the verses.

David Storer went through then entire book of 2nd John, not exactly the longest book, but full of wonderful truths we can live by. David encourages us that at its core the book is about maintaining a faith of truth by setting boundaries.

Concluding our series in 1st John, Principal from Scottish Baptist College Ian Birch, was welcomed back to Connect Church and ran us through the last parts of Chapter 5 1st John. Pulling from the whole book about points of Dignity, Duty and Destiny.

Yet again we give John the trickier passages and as always John brings his A Game. While initially the mic was a little offputting, bear with it, it does settle down. Starting with some Greek Gnostocism, John explains all about the concepts that are being presented in these verses in 1 John 4:1-6 & 5:1-12.

Mariette Brandes, felt somewhat alone without her family there to support her, but plenty of her church family were in attendance and appreciated what she had to say about Real Love based on 1 John 3. Thank You Mariette.

Due to a last minute needed change to the scheduled our friend and Trustee Cindy Pollock stepped up and was welcomed to the platform, continuing our study in 1 John, Cindy brought a timely messaeg about being a Child of God.

Phil Arbon, friend of Connect Church and 2Gether Renfrewshire collaboration of churches, joined us in our service this morning. Bringing a message about faith from just eight verses in Matthew Chapter 15. We had some issues with Tech on this recording and Phil had a habit of walking away from behind the microphone and so goes a little quieter in places.
