The biggest threat to experiencing God’s presence isn’t a crisis — it’s the ordinary Tuesday when nothing feels significant and God feels far. Through Elijah’s story in 1 Kings 19, Justin makes the case that God doesn’t just show up in the storms; He whispers in the quiet, and He wants to meet with us there every single day.

Where is God when the hurt is loud and the answers aren’t coming? Justin walks through John 11 — the death of Lazarus and the raw grief of Mary and Martha — to show that Jesus moves toward us in our sorrow, even when His timing doesn’t make sense. The absence of an answer is not the absence of purpose.

When life gets hard, the loudest lie we believe is that nobody else understands what we’re going through — and that God has gone quiet.
