I use the new Oxford annotated bible for easier reading! I connected with Luke 21, I felt like it described my lived experience of my faith crisis. I read my poem “Betrayed”. I am grateful for all who played a role in my life.

I open up about how I view my faith crisis. I went from being acted upon to acting for myself. Free agency and the belief that God will give me all that I want if I believe has given me incredible happiness. I have to forgive and learn to love like him. We all have God’s image on us, we are God’s currency, we are the treasure of heaven.

I saw myself more as a Pharisee and now I am just a humble sinner and because of that I now feel connected to the world. It is harder for a person that is Rich (I say “comfortable”) to enter into the kingdom of God than an camel to enter into an eye of a needle. I believe it’s by discomfort we grow and enter into the kingdom.
