I believe the spirit of God (love) is the fire that destroys the evil (our egos).

I found rest by believing in the good news❤️. We start as infants drinking milk, living in a simplistic of black and white thinking. I believe as we mature we leave simplicity, move to complexity, and in that are “trained by practice to distinguish good from evil”.

1&2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon. I believe the purpose of the law is to teach us how to be in relationships with each other. If a law doesn’t help build relationships, it’s not necessary. We all matter. Listen, learn, and love… thats how you build people up. God builds people up. He gives them power. That’s how we can do His will.

I believe as we turn from idols (the dead) we turn to the living❤️. Building community is how I serve a true and living God. It’s by accepting all people, all truths.

Doing what I want to do rather than what I think I should do- I now “do all things without murmuring or arguing”. Christ trusted that I was good. He died so I could be free to follow my heart. Because our hearts are sooo good, he knew we would follow his footsteps of love and compassion if we were free.

Accepting grace was changing my mind from thinking I had to be perfect to go to heaven to I am good and I can improve my behaviors everyday- there is nothing that can separate me from God’s presence❤️😇❤️. It popped my shame bubble of who I am and I could look at my life without fear (darkness) and with love (light) change my behaviors and beliefs that were not loving and kind.

The spirit cares more about being loving than being right. The flesh cares more about being right than being loving.

I believe true followers of Jesus Christ don’t put themselves above another(boast) and make slaves. They are your friend, give freedom, and builds you up.

Learning to love without the need to control lifted veils off my eyes and got rid of negative feelings, I just have peace and love left in my heart.

Prophesy is a spiritual gift that builds up the church. I believe we can all gain this gift!

1st Corinthians 1-7 I believe our mortal existence is our garden of Eden. We are fed milk. This builds us up for our fall and prepares us for our spiritual life. In our mortal existence we have the yeast of pride and after we fall and enter into our spiritual life, when we accept the atonement we become unleavened, we lose our pride and experience humility brought by sincerity and truth.

Romans 7-16 I feel like our spirit in our body is incredible and knows so much more than our brains could ever ingest. Living a spirit led life is scary, we have to put faith in God’s grace and that will free us to lead with our spirit and stop us from living in fear. I read a few verses using different words, unrighteousness is hatefulness, faith is hope, righteousness is kindness. I believe living by hope (faith) leads to righteousness. Living by knowledge leads to unrighteousness (hatefulness).

I feel like I see myself in Paul. I believe we can all be like Paul❤️

The prison foundation (SEC FINE) was shaken and prisoners chains fell off. I believe the whole point to the gospel is to set us free to grow up and become our own authority.

I liken the scriptures to my life again! We need to stop idolizing (Joseph Smith), Idolizing is thinking one human is better than another human, like worship them with hymns or sacrifices. The truth is we all are human and have darkness, hiding our darkness blocks us from experiencing LOVE…. And healing. This week I read that people will choose captivity and want idols to tell them the path. Also so excited to share my thoughts on the symbolism I see in baptism. The gospel is good news!!! (Not bad for anyone)

Acts 1-5 I believe when I stopped idolizing objects I started making progress towards becoming a better person. Believers are of one heart and soul and willing give all they have to make the world a better place for all.

I believe feeling grief, surrender to pain, will lead us to sacred spaces.

This week is about Christ’s death. I look at scriptures both symbolically and literally since my faith expansion (endowment journey) to gain greater understanding. (Stages of faith development I believe is how the “secular world” describes the endowment). The one thing I noticed was when the women played (will play) their part.

I look at the story of Judas betraying Jesus differently. I think it’s a lesson that we can’t always trust people who look good. We have to use our spirit of truth, follow that over following others.

I believe it’s our personal truth that will bring us the greatest happiness in our lives. Our spirit is what connects us to God. Let your spirit guide😇
