Today we talk about King Cyrus' decree to go UP to the temple. When we attend the temple are we going up? Do we allow our time there to elevate us and raise us up? If not, we learn in Ezra 1, that God can place with in us the spirit of the temple.

Today we talk about the power that the word of God had on Josiah and on the people of Judah, and what the power of the word can do for you and I. 

Today we talk about God's blessings to us even when it isn't the blessing we seek, and what it means when we don't feel God is with us. 

Today we see how the Lord shows, in a BIG WAY. That He is a God of deliverance. It is my belief and my testimony, that God delights to show us that He is mighty to save!

We live in a world that teaches us that when we are up against hardship, or trial, to kick against God, to blame Him or to distance ourselves from Him. When we do that, we are distancing ourselves from the one true and sure source of real peace and understanding. Here in these verses, Hezekiah shows us an example of drawing nearer to the Lord in times of tribulation. 

Who do you put your trust in? With the world clamoring so loudly for our attention, sometimes we slip into the downfall of placing our trust in ourselves or the arm of the flesh. Hezekiah reminds us that even in the most dire of circumstances, we can always place our faith in God. 

Today we meet the most righteous king that Judah ever had! Even though Hezekiah was raised by an incredibly wicked man, he chose the Lord and was blessed and prospered for his choice. 

Today we talk about the protection we receive from the Lord when we seek to keep His commandments and stay true to our covenants. 

This chapter shows us that in the big things and in the small things, the Lord is aware of us and is involved in our lives. He delights to bless us!

When Naaman was asked to dip himself in the Jordan river, he wasn't mad because it was a dirty river, he wasn't even mad about the simple instruction. Today we learn that service is sometimes in the being there, not in the waiting. And we learn that we are better able to experience the holy when we are intentional about making time for the holy!

Today we look at the principle of self reliance as we learn it through a miracle of Elisha.

Happy 4th of July! Today we talk a little bit about why the celebration of America's freedom is something to be grateful for for ALL members of the church. Also we discuss how to gain testimonies of new leadership.

After showing the Israelites the great things the Lord can do, after showing them a miracle. He is disheartened when it seems that conversion won't be a lasting thing for them. The Lord calls him to Mount Saini where He reminds him that the Lord's voice isn't found in the miracles, it is found in the spirit that, if we are listening, will testify of those things to our hearts. 

Today we talk about seeing God's miracles in our lives

How long halt ye between two opinions? That can be a really hard question to really look into our lives and evaluate, but are there ways in our lives where we try to straddle two opinions, or walk both sides of the line? 

We rejoice and understand in the physical life that the Savior offers us, but far too often we overlook that as we approach the Lord and plead on behalf of our spiritually struggling children, he an raise them up spiritually as well. 

Today we see that sacrifice truly brings forth the blessings of heaven. 

Today we learn how the Lord often requires movement, requires effort on our part so that He can offer us the fullness of what we need and desire. 

Today we talk Elijah and the sealing keys of the priesthood.
