Today we see a prophecy of Joel fulfilled 3 ways...HINT: We are fulfilling it today!

Today we talk about changing our outward manifestations of faith into full submission to the Lord. 

The Lord never tires of offering love and mercy and He never tires of trying to bring us home to Him. 

Today we see that when we truly come to see and understand God's great love and mercy towards us, then we will be able to more fully see our relationship to Him. 

Why does it sometimes seem that the people who have turned their backs on God enjoy the most blessings? Today we talk about it. 

Today we take an overview of the book of Hosea, who he was and how he teaches. When we do we see that God is filled with love and mercy towards His children. 

Can we say boldly like Daniel and like Paul, that we are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ?

BUT IF NOT... Some of the most faith filled words that have ever been spoken. Today we learn through Elder Simmons that true faith must accompany faith in the "But if not" moments. 

Today we talk about the stone cut without hands and how we are a part of it. 

Today we see how the Lord laid out Daniel's blessings before Daniel even knew he needed them. It really makes it clear that God really is in the details of our lives! 

Obedience draws down blessings from Heaven, but if we assume that we know what blessings will receive, we run the risk of not seeing the myriad of blessings God is giving us. 

What do we do when God's commands don't necessarily make sense to the world, or align with the worlds ways? We continue to trust in God and follow Him. I have been accused of blind obedience when I have stated that I will follow God, even when I don't understand. But it is my testimony that it is never blind obedience when you can clearly see who you are following. 

Today we talk about the importance of studying the book of Daniel and some of the similarities between how he lived and our day! 

What is the correlation between a vision about bones coming to life and two sticks becoming one? Well, like most of Ezekiel's teaching it is all about the mercy of the gathering. 

Today we talk about conversion, the type of conversion that happens when the Lord places within us, a new heart and a new spirit. 

Today we talk about the Lord's command to serve as an under-shepherd with Him in gathering and taking care of His sheep.  

Before Ezekiel goes to preach, the Lord wants to give him something to strengthen him. He gives him the word. As the word of God becomes delicious to us it will give us strength and power to overcome. 

God called Ezekiel to be a prophet knowing that his words may not be popular or accepted by the people, still He continued to reach out to them in love and mercy. Giving them every opportunity to repent and return. 

Today we talk briefly about the vision that Ezekiel has in chapter 1 and then we talk about his calling as a prophet and a unique name that the Lord calls him. 

Today we talk about who Ezekiel was, and what we can learn from his beautiful experience communing with God, even in the midst of Babylon. 

When Jeremiah's heart groans and his soul is troubled by the sins of Judah, he finds hope and faith in Christ.  

Today we learn about Israel turning it's back on God using a really cool symbol. 

From the depth of a prison, Jeremiah praises God and speaks of His power and love. In a moment when Jeremiah could have questioned if God was aware of Him or wonder why He wasn't intervening. Jeremiah testified of Him.

Today we talk about God's beautiful promise that He will remember our sins no more. Notice He doesn't promise us that WE will remember our sins no more. Memory of our sins is important so that we don't fall into the same mistakes, however, HOW we remember previous mistakes makes all the difference in the world.

Today we learn about God's absolute love for His children as Jeremiah teaches us about the Lord's hased, the covenant love which He has for His people.
