The second question answered by the parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us who is our neighbor and how to love more like the Savior.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan done 2 ways! Sometimes we get so focused on the scribes second question, "who is my neighbor?" That we forget his first question was "what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Today we talk about The Savior's answer to the first question.

Using a sum that was unimaginable, Christ teaches us about the importance of forgiveness.

Have you ever been lost and scared? Have you ever lost something or someone that you love? In those moments you know that you would give anything for someone to help. The beauty of this scripture is that it reminds us that Jesus Christ is a loves the lost and has the power to bring them home safely!

In the past 10-15 years or so the concept of "Servant Leadership" has really taken over the business world. It is something that companies shell out big money for trainings and a buzz word on resumes. Little does the business world know or understand that Servant Leadership is a leadership skill that the Savior taught over 2000 years ago!

The Savior teaches His disciples that what they do matters! It doesn't matter because we are saved by our works. We know that isn't the case, we are saved by Christ and His grace. But He still emphasizes the importance of our WORKS, because what we DO how we live, as we focus on Christ, change our hearts and lead us to who we become!

What s the Rock upon which Christ built His church? He answers it in these verses, and with understanding the context and with a nice Book of Mormon cross reference we can see that the same rock is the foundation of our faith today!

Today we learn that the best source of truth and testimony is the Holy Ghost, which can be renewed every time we feel like it may be diminishing.

Pres Nelson has taught that in the coming days we will see the greatest manifestations of the Savior's power that the world has ever seen. How can we be sure to avoid the pitfall of the Pharisees and have eyes to see the miracles around us?

Today we see again the tremendous compassion of the Savior as well as how our focus allows us to experience gratitude.

The Pharisees teach us an important (what not to do) lesson about obsessing over culture or traditions more than doctrine.

HE LIVES! And because He is a living God, He is able to bless strengthen and heal you in very real ways.

All of us at some point of our lives are broken in some way. Either by our own choices or the choices of others we experience that hurt, disappointment or sorrow. The atonement of Jesus Christ is able to take the broken, repair it and give it back to us more beautiful and stronger than ever before.

In our moments of devastation, pain, or heartbreak there is hope in Christ that in the end all will be made well, but lets get real here for a minute. Sometimes when we are in the middle of our grief or broken dreams, that promise seems so far off when our current pain is so real. The beauty of the atonement of Jesus Christ is that it gives us both hope for eventual deliverance, but also knowledge...

It isn't enough to simply be justified, our Savior doesn't just want to return us to status quo. He wants us to become higher and holier. He wants to sanctify us and make us holy.

The scriptures teach us that no unclean thing can dwell with God, that is the law of Heaven, but we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. How grateful I am that in His everlasting knowledge, love and mercy, our Heavenly Father sent His Son to satisfy the demands of justice and make it possible for us to return to Him again someday.

As we better come to know the Savior, as we deepen our relationship with Him, we can feel His love and be wrapped in His warm embrace.

Today we do a conference recap as well has dive into our Easter Prep by talking about how the sting of death can be swallowed up in Christ.

In John 5 the Savior teaches us about the law of the witnesses. As we listen to conference, listen for that law to be used. Repetition should rivet our attention.

"Wilt thou be made clean?" The question to the sick man at the pools of Bethesda is the question that He, in His infinite "Hased" or loving kindness asks us.

Sometimes belief is a choice. When we hear something that is hard to hear or we struggle with doubt, belief means turning back to the things we know, the experiences we have had. Belief means remembering the miracle of the loaves in our lives. 

In these verses we learn that the way to find core, lasting joy is through the hope with find in our testimonies of Christ, and if we are to overcome the fears of this life, we have to do it by focusing our faith in Him.  

Today we learn some principles of adversity from the disciples struggling in the storm that we can remember when we face challenges in our own lives.
