In our 3rd sermon in the series "Chosen", Pastor Phil teaches on the importance of "chance" encounters in our lives. Through the use of stories of Jesus life and the chance encounters He is faced with, Pastor shows how we need to take advantage of every encounter we have with people.

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. Eph. 1:4-6

This week Pastor Phil starts a new series called "Strongholds". This series delves into things that we hold onto that the enemy has control of.

This week we start off a new Christmas series entitled "God with us." When Heaven Met Earth talks about the importance of the nature of Christ. Christ is both fully man and fully God, a concept that is very difficult to understand. Pastor Phil helps paint a picture of Christ's identity and His importance this Christmas season.

This week Brian Houseman, guest speaker, joins us and shares how we can leave a Spiritual Legacy with our families.

We are all called to be servants. Jesus showed us that in His treatment of the Disciples when He washed their feet. Pastor Phil challenges us this week to be a servant to those around us and talks about what that should look like.

We are called as Christians to be compassionate for others, but that isn't the easiest thing to do. When you feel strongly for someone you might feel compassionate for them easily, but when you don't like someone or don't have a connection with them, then compassion is more difficult. This week pastor Phil challenges us to love the least of these and care for the people around us.

When everything is stripped away, what do you have left? Pastor Phil challenges us to look past the short life that we have on this earth and make sure we are pointed at bigger things and see if we are really willing to step across the line.

This weeks sermon focuses on how our giving has effected those around us and those who we cannot see. We hear testimonies from people who have been impacted by the generosity of Colonial Woods.

This week we start a new series entitled "Because of You". October is Missions Month at Colonial Woods and we just want to take some time to give a high five to our people and share powerful stories about the impact we have had as a church to the people we support. This week we will be talking about how the powers of our prayers have worked in the lives of people.

Pastor Phil delivers a message teaching us the importance of sharing our faith and steps we can take in our every day life to share Christ with the people in our lives.

As we continue the series "Show and Tell", a series on how to share your faith with the people in your life, Pastor Phil communicates the importance of having a heart for the people around us and to see them as the potential masterpieces that God does.
