Romans 6:1-11 - Pruning is the act of trimming for the sake of growth. How are we challenging ourselves to grow?

Genesis 18:1-15, 21:1-7 - God finds creative ways to be with us and creation. There is a sacred invitation to host God who may appear as a stranger.

Matthew 28:16-20 - We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ. In these times where there is so much hurt, injustice, and fear, how can we be disciples of God?

John 20:19-23 - We most likely are feeling tired, weary, and perhaps a little scared. Yet, God still calls us to be the living reflection of God.

Acts 1:6-14 - Perhaps we've been asking the wrong question. Maybe we need to change what question we ask of Jesus so that we can be reflections of God's love.

John 14:15-21 - How have you loved Jesus today? How have you been an advocate, helper, or someone who has loved their neighbor?

John 14:1-7 - There is room for all, rest for all, and a place for all to lay their tired heads.

I Peter 2:19-25 - Jesus came into our world not just to show us the way to enter into a deeper relationship with God but also to show us what it means to live in a society that places compassion and love above all else.

Luke 24:13-26 - Cleopas and his companions couldn't see Jesus. What keeps us from seeing Jesus, and how have we been called to be more as Christ's disciples?

John 20:19-31 - Easter is transformative, and we are continuing to grow into the new realities in which we live.

Matthew 28:1-10 - Christ is risen! Christ is risen indeed! Yet our Easter hope takes a new form this morning, perhaps in the form of a weary Easter bus ride.

John 3:1-17 - We already have had a rebirth in love that flows from the covenants and promises of God. And such a revival is found in the incarnation of such love made flesh. The problem is that we have forgotten what that means and what role it plays in our lives.

Matthew 5:1-12 - We have a choice to live our lives with two different mentalities, "All for One," or "One for All." The Beatitudes teach us that we are blessed so that we can bless others. The question is whether or not we will fulfill these words of Jesus.

Matthew 4:12-23 - Cast your nets out! Let us fish for something new. And may we tend our nets as we nurture our souls as we follow Jesus.

Matthew 3:13-17 - Baptism is the start of a spiritual journey of discipleship. Yet this new life found in God's love looks quite different from how we have been taught to measure success and other things.

Matthew 2:1-12 - The three magi followed a star that led them to Jesus. In many ways, we are still following the star as well, hoping to find Jesus. As we head into this new year, may we try a little practice that might help shed some light on our way.
