In Psalm 51, David instructs and models for us the anatomy of a confession and then the transmission of transformation from self to the entire community of faith. Yet, what do we do when we that's not enough to make us confess? We look to Jesus for help.

The Covenantal Lord is Judge first for the Household of God. He is Judge of both the outer and inner life of His people. Finally, he is both their Judge and their Deliverer. All of this leads you to see Him as the True Judge, to give up transactional religion and hardened hypocrisy, and finally to to know that in and through Jesus Christ you can offer pleasing sacrifices to Him.

 Because only God can redeem the soul… 1. …we must proclaim this truth to everyone. 2.  …we must face our death 3. …we must escape the illusion of wealth.  4. …we must know the One who can paid our ransom. The future is going to be amazing because Christ is the King who cleanses and marries His Bride (the church), and is promised a heritage for generations to come and praise from the nations.

Because God promises to satisfy you with Himself, plead with your soul, persuade it, and press it to hope in God for you will have reason to praise Him.

Because of God’s gracious love in saving us, we should live lives marked by good works that bless others. Be devoted to doing good Remember who we were. God adorns your life through elders who teach and model and ordered life. Additionally, God adorns your life by ordering you, so you must live like you know God. Finally, God desires this adorning because ultimately it adorns his doctrine as God our Savior

God desires his church to be made sound in the faith through elders who are able to instruct in sound doctrine and refute those who contradict it. So the elder's life must flow from a rich inner faith of clinging to the Word, because this is the enabling factor for their teaching and refuting.

God our Savior desires to put his church into order by appointing elders to steward it. This means we must accept this as God's desire, pray for and prepare to be qualified to be elders, and we must cling to the Word as we look for elders who before all else cling to the Word of God

God extends grace and peace through the apostolic faith in Christ. 1. We must have faith in the proclaimed Savior. 2. We have receive the truth that leads  to godliness 3. We must receive it through God’s means in the church

Jesus Christ is risen… So He is the Indestructible Savior. So real reconciliation is possible.  So you should wonder what it means for you.

Jesus is truly a man and he truly dies. But this true man is also truly God, and the cross is the place of God's power, glory, and love, and ultimately showing us the kind of God he is.

Jesus' forsaking to die alone reveals him to be our necessarily kingly ransom and it calls for us to pick up our crosses and follow Him in faith. Jesus' death alone is the sign that He is the Son of God, and we are repent of our desire to have him come down and be a different kind of Savior. This means Jesus is more than a descendant of David, condemning outward religion, and that He calls you to give up all that you earthly want so you can get all you can have of God.

Everyone has a religion. This is less important than asking and answering if your religion is real. To say it differently, is it actually true. Who gets to judge if religion is real? Mark reveals that Jesus is the only judge if your religion is real and real religion receives the Kingdom of God.
