Arturs Silovs, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, and Aatu Raty all had strong games as the Canucks defeated the Seattle Kraken 3-1 in preseason play. The Canucks will face the Calgary Flames in Abbotsford on Wednesday night.

Goaltender Thatcher Demko spoke to the media today about the mysterious injury that has hampered his practice time over the summer. As well, Canucks training camp began with three different groups taking the ice. Most notable was Jonathan Lekkerimaki lining up with Elias Pettersson and Jake DeBrusk.

Rick Tocchet, Patrik Allvin, and Jim Rutherford met with the media on the eve of Canucks training camp. They gave updates on Thatcher Demko, Dakota Joshua, Teddy Blueger, and Cole McWard.

We talked about how Dakota Joshua's absence (announced today) will affect training camp and the battle for an opening night roster spot.
