Can we trust God for the impossible in our lives? Yes, the Bible says we can. In this message, Pastor Pete looks at three other gifts of the Holy Spirit – faith, healing and miracles. The God who created the universe is able and still willing to heal and accomplish miracles today.

As Christians, we are exiles living in a country that is not our own and our values are different from those of this world. Pastor Adedoyin unpacks what it means to live radical lives that do not conform to the ways of this world, but instead, are more in keeping with our new status as citizens of God’s Kingdom. 

Everything we do comes out of who we are. Pastor Pete’s message reminds us of our new identity, a born-again people who have their Father’s nature. Therefore, what we do, now comes out of a heart of love and bears witness to who He is. 

This week, Pastor Pete’s message encourages us to set our hope on the grace of Jesus and in the same vein, to be holy. This desire for holiness is intended to be borne, not out of legalism, but instead, out of gratitude for everything He has done for us.

Easter is the basis for us, as Christians, to have optimism in life. Pastor Pete’s Easter message explains that we can have hope, a living hope, that is based not on this life, but on what Jesus did at the Cross and on His resurrection.

Today’s message starts our new series on the book of 1 Peter. The Apostle Peter was writing to believers in the Roman empire just as persecution was being unleashed on them; he was preparing them to have the kind of faith that would enable them to stand. Pastor Pete’s message therefore looks at the nature of true faith that can overcome the storms of life.

Psalm 149 looks at the power of praising together. We look at the how and the why of praising the Lord together.

Pastor Paul encourages us to see that all of creation has been made by God and made for His praise. We find our purpose and meaning when we praise Him.

Pastor Pete ends this series with a call to praise God even in the midst of tough times. There is always hope for broken people and broken lives because our God is a God of restoration. 

In this message, Pastor Pete reflects on King David’s passion for the House of the Lord. We see the huge priority that God Himself places on His House, the Church. This is an encouragement for us, as Christians, to prioritize and not neglect His House. When the Church prospers, so does the nation.

Pastor Pete’s first message in this series is to remind us of the reasons why, as Christians, we serve in the House of God. We do so because we want to praise and glorify Him.

Pastor Pete concludes our ‘By faith’ series with a call to be faith-filled people. He reminded us of Biblical heroes who though flawed, were also known for their unconditional faith in God. They saw suffering but their faith was never in an outcome that would bring them out of suffering, but always in a God who had a bigger purpose for their lives.
