Who am I? Why am I here? What does it mean to be human? Pastor Pete answers these deep questions in the first of our new series entitled ‘Being human’.

What do you hope for in 2025? What do you want to see happen? This week, Pastor Sammy unpacks three things from the story of Anna, the prophetess, that encourage us to be full of hope and expectation at the beginning of this new year.

In a culture that chases after trivial things, God calls us instead to passionately pursue what He defines as great things. In 2025 and to the end of our lives, let us passionately pursue Christ, to know Him and to make Him known.

Christmas can be a chaotic time, but God is not afraid of the chaos. He promised us a Shepherd-King who would enter the chaos of this world to bring us peace. Jesus is that Shepherd-King who lay down His life for us. A relationship with him brings us peace.

In his message, Pastor Pete unpacks what the multitude of angels said, when they appeared to the shepherds that first Christmas. Why did they give glory to God, and why is there peace for those with whom God is pleased?

The world is deceived in thinking that peace can be found outside of God. In his message, Pastor Pete unpacks why Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. He alone brings peace with God, and having peace with God enables us to experience His peace and ultimately to be at peace with people.

What is a disciple? How do we make disciples? In this last message of our Foundations series, Pastor Pete unpacks Jesus’ Great Commission. The heart behind this message is to encourage us to be genuine, not lukewarm, followers of Jesus, on a mission to make disciples.

The first church that was birthed at Pentecost was known for their koinonia-like unity, for their Christ-like love, and for their reliance upon the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Pete encourages us to be a church that follows in their footsteps.

Jesus said, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.” In this message, Pastor Pete unpacks what church leadership and its various functions are, and what true church leadership should be like.

Are we living a life that is full of hope, rejoicing in what God can do for us, or are we living a life of mediocrity because we have forgotten who our God is? In this message, Pastor Kemi encourages us to live expectantly, waiting in eager anticipation of what God has promised He will do for us and what He has in store for us.

Pastor Pete unpacks Scripture to show that God has only had one plan for this earth - to build a Church who will fill the earth and reflect His glory. As followers of Jesus, we are the Church and each one of us has a part to play in this great plan.

The Bible is clear that man, by nature and by choice, is sinful and is, therefore, in great need of salvation. Pastor Pete’s message today unpacks what the gospel is, why we need it and how to respond to it.

What are you building your life on? Pastor Jude’s message is an encouragement to build on God’s Word. We need strong foundations and only His Word will enable us to withstand the storms of life.

Have you ever stared into the vastness of space and felt tiny and insignificant? Yet, as small as we may be, the Bible is also clear that we matter to God, our lives and our redemption matter to Him. All of creation is longing for the revealing of His people, because we are part of His cosmic plan for complete restoration.

In this message, Pastor Adedoyin encourages us to be childlike in the way we trust God, to turn away from self-reliance, and refuse to find false security in what the world offers. Instead, we look to Jesus, depending wholeheartedly on Him and truly embracing our identity as children of God.

‘This is my Son … with whom I am well pleased’. Do we believe that, like Jesus, we, too, please God? Pastor Pete’s message unpacks the truth that those who are in Christ, now have the Father’s complete acceptance. Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross has removed the wrath and punishment we deserve, and there is no condemnation for those who are in Him.

Adoption for many families is usually a ‘Plan B’, the result of an inability to have children. In today’s message, Pastor Pete unpacks why our adoption as sons and daughters of God has always been His Plan A. Before the foundation of the world, God anticipated our fall and our need to be saved, and He predestined us to be adopted into His family.

In this series, Sons and Daughters, Pastor Dan examines our relationship with God as our loving Father, and what it means to live as His children. As we explore this truth, we will see how our identity as God’s sons and daughters informs our daily life and purpose.

In the busyness of life, Jesus always sought solitude with the Father for divine perspective and direction. In this message, Pastor Pete invites us to do likewise. God desires intimacy with us, but we also need to recognize that, as followers of Christ, our strength lies in time spent alone with Him.

How often have we allowed the noises of this world to drown out the voice of God? In this message, Pastor Pete teaches us the value of being still. In the silence, God speaks. In the silence, we can hear His voice. In the silence, we get His perspective, and understand that He is Lord of all.

Pastor Pete unpacks the theme of Sabbath - not simply as a day of rest as established in the Old Testament law, but also as the ultimate rest from life’s burdens when we enter into a relationship with God, through Jesus. We no longer have to obey it legalistically, but at the same time, through Jesus, it is a principle that we can certainly benefit from when we apply it in our lives.

Normal life in our culture is busy. But is the busyness of life disrupting our relationship with God? Do we try to live the life of Jesus but with the lifestyle of our culture? And what does it mean to take on Jesus' yoke and how do we do that?

The Ninevites were known for their ungodliness and extreme wickedness. Yet, God called Nineveh a ‘great city’, whose people were important and significant to Him. Do we carry God’s heart for our cities and for the people around us, even though they do not acknowledge Him?

Pastor Pete’s message is a direct challenge to us all. Are we, like Jonah, upset about the small things but neglect the big issues? Are we navel-gazing, instead of sharing God’s concerns for the people of our city, for this generation and for the broader concerns of humanity?
