Highlighting Armstrong Metal Fest, as well as a shit heap of awesome gigs approaching over the next few months including Krallice, Belphegor, Mortuary Drape, Monolord, Ulcerate, and Om.

Bridget plays a whole lot of psychedelic rock/metal, some new black metal. She also reads a passage on hardcore rap's relationship with metal from Ian Christie's Sound of the Beast. A special guest joins the show for a little bit and plays a couple of her favourite songs.

Bridget' second show warms up with some doom and black metal. She follows with a brief reading and discussion of Chuck Klosterman's Fargo Rock City. Then she finishes off with a whole lotta thrash-both new and old.

Coleman returns for the first show in a month to unleash some dank negative vibes on your asses. A few highlights/shout-outs to Covenant and Black Twilight Circle, as well as the Girls Rock Camp Fundraiser, new metal Noir Quebecois, and touching on Amnesia Rockfest in Montreal.

It's the May long weekend! To celebrate we are playing tons of Black Metal! Forteresse, Pale Challice, Falls of Rauros etc. We also raise our viking horns to Amon Amarth for their Vancouver stop and bid an RIP to Adrian Guerra, former drummer of Bell Witch.

We say farewell to one of the pioneers of Cascadian BM and welcome a new host to the Powerchord ranks! Featuring stuff from local shows (Bosse-De-Nage, Galgamex, Magrudergrind) and a bunch of tunes from Bridget to get us acquainted with her taste (Bongripper, Trouble, Hoopsnake)

A mixed bag today, highlighting local shows from Striker, the Wacken Metal Battle; the head to had battle between Napalm Death/Melvins or Kvelertak/Torche; as well as new stuff from Sanctuaire, Palace of Worms and heaps more.

An episode filled with several Black Metal bands from Quebec, some doom classics from Candlemass and Electric Wizard. And a ridiculous amount of Canadian metal! Oh and I threw in some Japanese experimental noise metal too!!

Highlighting local shows from Vacuus, Black Wizard's album release show, SUMAC's return as well as old stuff from Panopticon and sampling the Cobalt/Lord Mantis connection. Basically, it's all very brutal and gross today.
