This week we catch up on our Valentine's Day and we get real with Shawn about the allure of casinos and gambling. Tommy and Shawn review the new hit show from Amazon Prime, Reacher, as well as Peacemaker. This week we get honest about African Americans in cinema and why it's so hard being the first, along with the responsibility that comes with it.

We kick off this week by acknowledging Black History Month and a few pioneers in the industry. We try to figure out what went wrong for Boba Fett Season 1 as well as give our props to Peacemaker. Attack of the Hollywood Cliches has us talking about our favorite cliches in movies.

This week we touch on the top streamed movies of 2021 and try to figure out if the price from Netflix justifies the chokehold the have on shows. And just for fun we gauge the question, "Whats the nastiest thing you've done in a movie theater?"

This past week the world lost a TV and stand-up legend, so we give our love and appreciation to Bob Saget. Ryan FINALLY watched Ghostbuster: Afterlife, so we get his thoughts on the release. Has John Cena finally found his lane in entertainment? Did Scream deliver on the "requel"?

Tommy has some things to get off his chest this week. Between his new bingeworthy, The Boys, and the all-star cast of Don't Look Up on Netflix annoying him, Tommy has a lot to talk about. Have women empowerment movies gone over the edge?

We're starting off the year looking out for some of the big movies for the first half of the year to see if the resurgence of cinema carries over into the new year.

This week we're giving our year end Top 10 movies list! There were a lot of highs and lows this year but 2021 was a great bounce year for cinema so it's time to celebrate that and a great 1st year for Cinematic Savants!

This week Shawn, Ryan, and Tommy each bring up 1 topic that they've been wanting to talk about in full length. Are reboots worth the viewers time and the studios money? Is it time's up for the Me Too Movement? And what really caused the downfall of cinema?

As usual, we're all over the place this week. We discuss the highly anticipated Spider Man: No Way Home. Tommy recaps his place in Game of Thrones and tries to explain to Shawn why the show is so great, while he's still not sold on the appeal. Also, we recap Hawkeye after its big reveal of Kingpin.

This week we discuss Tommy's new obsession with Game of Thrones. Is the show worth the hype? Did Ryan enjoy his first few episodes of Squid Game? We also hit on many new shows this week and discuss if television is outperforming movies

This week we're covering, arguably, the best major release of 2021......Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Did you it live up to the hype? Can we finally wash our minds of that horrible 2016 reboot?

This week we give our Top 5 holiday movies! Some are predictable but some of our picks could be considered a stretch. Tune in as we argue if Die Hard is really a Christmas movie and what qualifies a movie to be considered such.

This week look ahead to the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. We also review the latest release Red Notice on Netflix. Have we hit a wall with The Rock being "The Rock" and Ryan Reynolds being "Ryan Reynolds? Listen in and find out.

It's been a big week for movie and show trailers so we break down 2 of them. First we discuss The Matrix Resurrections, which brings back Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss to reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity. We also review the upcoming Hawkeye show on Disney+ which gives a long overdue deep dive into the life of one of the original Avengers, Clint Barton aka Hawkeye/Ronin. 

We welcome back our friend and honorary third member of the Cinematic Savants, Ryan Winters this week to recap our night out viewing the newest Marvel release Shang-Chi. Did this movie deliver for the fans? We hold some very strong opinions covering this release, along with the review of the wildly successful Candyman. Big debate this episode so enjoy the talk this week!

This week we're reviewing the #1 movie of the week, Candyman starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen ll and Teyonah Parris. Shawn lets us know if this sequel lives up to the original. We also give our standing ovation this week to the legends Samuel L. Jackson and Gary Oldman.

We had another Cinematic Savant Night Out and it's time to review Don't Breathe 2 with Stephen Lang. Did the sequel live up to the original or did they step it up? We give our standing ovation this week to the legend Tupac with all he contributed to the cinema world in his short-lived life. Was Free Guy worth the hype it got?

This week we're reviewing Disney's new release Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson along with M. Night Shyamalan's Old. Also we discuss the lawsuit between Scarlett Johansson and Disney and we forward to the much anticipated release of The Suicide Squad. Can James Gunn save the franchise?
