After missing a week due to illness yet again, we are back with a new episode!   First up this week is a look at Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2022).  Jason and Matt have a full review for you.    Then in the second half of the show we go all the way back to 1963 to see why Sidney Poitier took home the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in Lilies of the Field.

Join us for a look at All Quiet on the Western Front.  An all new adaptation of the classic 1929 novel that is streaming currently on Netflix.   Then in the show's second half we go back to 1997 for at look at The Devil's Advocate.  Does Al Pacino chew up some scenery in this one?   Oh you betcha!

Todd Field is back to directing with the new film TAR.  It stars Cate Blanchett in the lead role.   Jason and Matt give a full review.  In the second half of the show the guys go back to 1979 for a fresh look at Steven Spielberg's madcap comedy, 1941.

Episode 92: I Love You, You Hate Me (2022) / The Best of Times (1986) 20.10.2022

We had to think outside the box this week in order to find a new movie to review.   We ended up settling on I Love You, You Hate Me the new documentary streaming on Peacock about the Barney phenomenon in the 1990's.    Then in the second half of the show the randomizer tasked us with reviewing Robin Williams and Kurt Russell in The Best of Times from 1986.

Episode 91: Amsterdam (2022) / The Guns of Navarone (1961) 13.10.2022

David O. Russell has a new film out called Amsterdam and Jason and Matt spend the first half of the show letting us know how they felt about it.    Then in the shows second segment they go all the way back to 1961 for a look at the World War II classic, The Guns of Navarone.

Episode 90: Smile (2022) / A Perfect World (1993) 06.10.2022

First up this week and brand new in theaters is SMILE.  The first of many horror films jammed into the Halloween release window.   Then in the second half of the show we go back to 1993 to take a look at Kevin Costner starring as a fugitive on the run in the Clint Eastwood directed film, A Perfect World.   Thanks for listening everyone!!

After a week away Jason is back once again and along with Matt they take a look at Don't Worry Darling.  They review the film and decide if that old saying is true.   There is no such thing as bad publicity.   Then in the second half of the show the fellas go back to 1975 to review the cockroach infestation film BUG.
