On the review block tonight it's the first comedy to win Oscar's highest honor: It Happened One Night.  Also we answer some film related questions that were flung in our direction and we decide the greatest actor of all time in a very scientific manner.

Join us this week as we discuss the merits of the 1933 (melo)drama Cavalcade, winner of the 6th Best Picture Academy Award.  We also talk about some bad casting choices and some wonderful actresses.

The Oscar Best Picture reviewing continues this week with 1932's Grand Hotel starring the elusive Greta Garbo and the slightly less elusive John Barrymore.  We also discuss whether the rise of streaming services has been a positive or a negative to the film industry.

It's our first western as we work our way through reviewing all the Oscar Best Picture winners. And let's just say there were some divided opinions among the cohosts. We also take a few moments to discuss what makes a film timeless and, as per usual, don't really come up with an answer.

On this week's episode we review the war epic All Quiet On the Western Front, winner of the third Best Picture Oscar.  We also share will you some of our film related unpopular opinions and we (mostly Glenn) ranks some of the best known war films.
