Matthew 6:33 - "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

I used to get mad at myself for feeling discouraged because I thought it only indicated a lack of growth and faith in God. However, I now see that there is more to it. Discouragement is a natural part of the journey.

It's gotten to the point where I don't even know what to ask God for. I've asked, I've had faith, I've been obedient, I've worked hard - so now what? In this episode I talk about what to do after you realized your breakthrough WAS NOT around the corner.

Through faith, not only are we justified, but we are also qualified. Jesus dying for our sins gave us the free gift of justification - the same way our faith in God has given us the qualifications to fulfill our life purpose no matter how big they are.

It's hard to do the right thing at inconvenient times. However, in these inconvenient times, our responses hold the most weight. What we decide to do at our most uncomfortable periods can yield the most growth.

Faith is like the gateway between everything God wants to do in our lives and the physical realm. We have the responsibility of keeping that gateway open and maintained. If it closes down, we don't receive what's ours. Without faith, we have nothing.

Has the way you've responded to the crisis aligned with the vision of one that has unquenchable faith in God? If not, then there is room to grow, and that starts with acknowledging that we could do better. This is your test, your next response will determine whether you pass or not. Trust God.

When in crisis, the thing that will get you through it all is your knowledge of the truth. The truth is something you must know, it goes beyond feelings - it has the ability to change everything. Our faith in God rests on the truth, so make sure you know it. 

Raise your hand if you don't know what's going to happen next, and fact of not knowing it's been killing you inside. Raise your hand if the pressures to be successful - whether it comes from society, your parents or even your pride - are eating you up. It's time to fear not. Please have a listen.

Oftentimes we allow out eternal identities to be determined by our temporary feelings. This is dangerous, as it makes us vulnerable to satan's influences. We need to find a way to make our feelings conform to our identity, not the other way around.
