Anxious for Nothing | James Collie 30.06.2026 32:16
Here's James drawing our four-part series in Philippians to a close, and helping us consider how a less anxious heart might free us up to pour our lives out for others. The writer Paul invites us all to school up on the secret to contentment and rejoice in the Lord always. James mentioned a wonderful Christian organisation, but gave the wrong name. So to clarify, ‘Mind and Soul’ have some great...

Here's Freya sharing from Philippians 3 as we continued our series in Paul's letter to the Philippians, where we discover God's love abounding through Paul despite his circumstances. Humility | Phil Morrison 15.06.2026 24:22
Here's Phil sharing for Philippians 2 as we continued to explore how God's love can be poured out into our whole lives, no matter what our circumstances are. God's love cannot be boxed in. It will abound. Phil helped us to consider what is ours in Christ and how loved we are by Him. So loved in fact, that we do not need to grasp at anything for a sense of significance or security. Instead, we can...

Here's Danielle sharing at our end of year celebration, where we marked a year of our student community living together. Pentecost | This is what dreams are made of | James Collie 25.05.2026 12:42
Here's James sharing from Acts 2 as we celebrated Pentecost Sunday at our all age service. ---- This recording begins with a spoken word rendering of Acts 2, beautifully written by Rachel Hood ( https://www.instagram.com/rachaelhoodwrites/ ) for a video by 'Go Chatter Studios'. We have adapted the script slightly for the purposes of last Sunday. Please see the original video here https://www.you...
Gifts of Grace: Gifts of Healing | Danielle McCullagh 18.05.2026 37:37
This week marked the final week of our Gifts of Grace series, as we explored the spiritual gift Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 12 as “gifts of healing.” At some point, many of us will find ourselves desperate to know whether God still heals: when sickness comes, when a loved one is suffering, or when pain feels beyond our control. Paul’s answer is a resounding yes: God heals, and He chooses to ad...
Gifts of Grace | Distinguishing of Spirits | Glynis Matchett 11.05.2026 40:45
Our friend Glynis Matchett from New Wine Ireland helped us explore the spiritual gift Paul names in 1 Corinthians 12 as the ability to distinguish between spirits. This gift is a gift of discernment. It is the Spirit-given ability to recognise what is truly from God, what is simply human, and what may be spiritually harmful or deceptive. In a world full of voices, influences, impressions, emotions...
Gifts of Grace: Miraculous Powers | Danielle McCullagh 20.04.2026 50:39
As we returned to our series on spiritual gifts, Danielle shared from 1 Corinthians 12. She encouraged us to have the faith and expectation that we will see the hand of God move in a way that a human hand cannot, interrupting the natural order in a way that the human eye and brain cannot explain other than by His divine, powerful presence. She explained to us that the working of miracles today, th...
The Reigning King | Danielle McCullagh 13.04.2026 37:48
Here’s Danielle sharing on Jesus’ last 40 days on Earth we drew our Easter series, ‘Mercies Crown’ to a close. In Palm Sunday we saw a Jesus who was a humble king. In Good Friday we come to see Jesus glorified as King as He dies upon a cross. In Easter Day we celebrated that we have met the Risen King Jesus. Now Danielle helps us to consider what Jesus was most keen to impress upon His dear friend...

The King's Unveiling is Our Undoing | James Collie 30.03.2026 31:21
We took a pause from our series on spiritual gifts to journey through Easter and celebrate the wonder and majesty of King Jesus, who in His death on the cross and rising from the grave has set us free from the powers of sin and death and raised us to new eternal life with Him. Here's James sharing from John 12:12-36, where we see Christ's procession into Jerusalem turns the whole world upside down...
Gifts of Grace: Knowledge | John Alderdice 23.03.2026 47:51
Here's John Alderdice helping us explore the spiritual gift referred to as the “word of knowledge,” that we find in 1 Corinthians 12:1–11. John unpacks the difference between information and real knowledge. How real knowledge goes much deeper than facts. It shows us that some things about God remain beyond us. So as followers of Jesus, we are called to stay curious, open, and willing to learn, r...
Gifts of Grace: Wisdom | Freya McNeice 15.03.2026 30:05
In week 10 of our series on spiritual gifts we explored the gift of the utterance of wisdom. Together, we distinguished between two types of biblical wisdom: 1. There is a skilful form of wisdom that each of us need to cultivate over time as we grow as disciples of Jesus. 2. And there are those moments when the Holy Spirit gives you clarity for a specific situation. That clarity is helps us to k...
Gifts of Grace: Faith | James Collie 02.03.2026 30:17
On Sunday we looked at the spiritual gift of faith. The way the Bible describes faith is rich and beautiful. Faith is always a gift from God. He wants us to be deeply rooted, unshakeable, steadfast and He does not expect us to get there by human works or personal will power. Faith is a gift God wants us to fully enjoy and make the most of, but a gift that we often struggle to explain, especially w...
Gifts of Grace: Leadership | Danielle McCullagh 16.02.2026 42:52
Danielle shared on the spiritual gift of leadership as part of the “Gifts of Grace” series. Leadership in Scripture was not primarily about office or position but about influence within the body of Christ. Drawing from Romans 12:3–8, we can see that leadership was one gift among many, given by grace for the building up of the church. Leadership is: More than a Title Deeper than Skill Nothing less...
Gifts of Grace: Teaching | James Collie 09.02.2026 35:54
On Sunday, we thought about how spiritual gifts enable us to display the many-coloured wisdom of God. God cannot be displayed in monochrome, so He needs His whole church to be filled with His love, filled with spiritual gifts, surrendered completely to Him and united as one healthy body. James read from Acts 8, which shows us so much about the gift of teaching; that God-given ability to open up sc...
Gifts of Grace: Exhortation | Freya McNeice 25.01.2026 31:02
This week, Freya led us in looking at the spiritual gift of exhortation. Originating from the word parakeleó which means 'to call to one's side, to exhort, to encourage, to comfort and to urge,' this spiritual gift focuses on three aspects: 1. Drawing in: Exhortation is all about relationship! Exhorters draw in to people's real and messy lives and walk closely beside them. Ultimately, exhorters...
Gifts of Grace: Serving | James Collie 20.01.2026 29:38
Here's James Collie sharing from Romans 12, John 13 and Philippians 2 as we continued our new series, 'Gifts of Grace'. We hope this journey through some, but by no means all, of the spiritual gifts, will help to unlock and encourage more of us in the supernatural gifts that God has given us. So that the church may be strengthened and the world blessed. When we practice the gifts God gives; th...
Gifts of Grace | Danielle McCullagh 14.01.2026 43:26
On Sunday, we began a new series exploring spiritual gifts, helping us think about how God equips every follower of Jesus to serve in unique ways. This is an important topic or us to dig in to, since scripture makes it clear that every believer has at least one spiritual gift, and these gifts are meant to be exercised within the Church and beyond. Danielle shared the difference between natural tal...
