Church of The Redeemer - Sermons

Our mission at Church of The Redeemer is to invite our city to participate in God's Story of Redemption. We see this lived out perfectly in the life of the Apostle Paul in Acts 17.

To understand where we're going as a church, we must know where we're coming from. Where we're coming from has a twofold purpose: to glorify God and make disciples.

In our final sermon on the first nine chapters of Proverbs, we learn that to know wisdom is to know God. In wisdom, there is abundant life; in folly, there is only death.

In Proverbs 8, Wisdom calls out with reason and seeks to lead us in the path of righteousness.

In Proverbs 5-7, Pastor Josh reminds us that God's wisdom for sex and sexuality is important.

From the book of Isaiah, Pastor Josh reminds us that God’s glory is our joy and hope as we wait for Him to sustain us through the trials of this life.

In Proverbs 4, we learn that the life of wisdom is a life of vigilance. But we can only vigilantly pass down wisdom, walk, and stay on the wise path when we see the surpassing beauty of Jesus.

Because we are God's covenant people, we are made to obey His will, enjoy His blessings, and humbly receive His discipline.

In Proverbs 2, Solomon urges his son to pursue wisdom and the reward that this pursuit brings.
