Ben Sulser preaches to us from Proverbs 6:1-19 about three ways to mess up your life: to give your pledge to a stranger (yes, that applies to everybody), to be a sluggard, and to be a worthless, wicked person.

The Bible takes sexual sin seriously, not because sex is some terrible thing, but rather because sex is a great gift of God. For this reason, it has to be guarded diligently, as Pastor Jake taught us from Proverbs 5.

You know you should be wise. But how do you really start to practice wisdom? By doing it with all vigilance. With your whole self. With every facet of the thing that is you . With you whole body, as a matter of fact, as King Solomon tells us in Proverbs 4:20-27

Sometimes the Bible feels weird. Proverbs 4 tells us, basically, not to eat the bread of wickedness or drink the wine of violence. Sounds kind of like Shakespeare or something, right? Like ... when are you tempted to do that ? Actually, quite a lot.  This passage has more application to your everyday life than you might think, as Pastor Jake showed us in this sermon. 

Pastor Ben preaches to us from Proverbs 2:13-35 on why we should really, really, really, really, really want wisdom. Because all her paths are peace. 

God wants us to trust in him as little children trust in a good father. In return, he promises us every good thing. So ... why don't we?
