This week, Drew walks us through Luke 12:1-12 talking about how following Jesus changes our hearts to overcome the fears we might have of the world and people.

This week as we continue through the book of Luke, Britton led us through Luke 11:37-52. We saw Jesus confront the pharisees and lawyers about their legalism.

Luke 24:1-35

This week for Palm Sunday, Britton read the story of Jesus' triumphant entry and the plot to kill him which culminated in the crucifixion. Britton highlighted the necessity of the cross and the ways in which that intentional plan of redemption still applies to us today.

Jesus starts off this passage by casting a demon out of a man. The crowd had very mixed reactions. Some dismissed him, some asked him for a sign from heaven, and other misunderstood. Jesus responds to each of these groups and gives them invitations to join the kingdom of Heaven!

This week one of our interns, Dylan Stripling continued our walk through the book of Luke. He covered verses 5-13 of Luke 11; Jesus's continued teachings on prayer after the Lord's prayer in verses 1-4. As Dylan dives into the Word he addresses the pivotal question: Are you praying the right way?

This week in our Gospel According to Luke series, Britton walks us through the story of Martha and Mary in Luke 10: 38-42. We are reminded that in the midst of busyness, there is only one thing needed. 

This week, Britton continued walking us through the book of Luke. We looked at Luke 10:25-37, where Jesus interacts with an expert in the Law and tells him the story of the Good Samaritan. 

This week, we walk through Luke 10:1-2, 17-22.

This week Britton leads us in the final message of our series on core values here at Church at the Oaks.  Luke 15:1-7

As we continued our Core Values series this Sunday, Britton walked us through what it means when we say that as a church we want to multiply at every level and believe in the next generation.  Acts 16:1-5
