We must always come to Jesus in faith with our problems. Faith comes through trust in His authority and we must submit to what He wants to do. Faith and obedience work together.

Do we seek religion or relationship? Strict adherence to tradition can rob us of joy but it is the joy of the Lord that is our strength.

If there's hope for Matthew, there's hope for us! Matthew left all behind to follow Jesus, yet it was Jesus who followed Matthew back to where the sinners were.

It is time to seek the Lord and we seek Him through reading, praying, and serving.

Intersession with action is a powerful combination. Are we afraid to let others see our faith? When we act together with other believers, we have the strength and courage to do great things.

Even the demons know who Jesus is and that a time of judgment is coming. We can stand against attack, but not in our own strength; we need to rebuke the forces of darkness in the name of Jesus who came to set the captives free.

Sometimes following Jesus means going into a storm. We often ask God to take the storms away but do we ever ask Him to help us weather the storms more peacefully?

How much will it cost us to follow Jesus? Eternal life is a free gift, but true discipleship costs all we have. Yet while the cost is high, the value of belonging to Christ is even higher.

Are we living as though we were saved to serve? For all that Jesus has done for us, what can we do for Him?

God Came to Earth. So what's the big deal?

Is God amazed by our faith as He was by that of the Centurion? Jesus is the head over every power and authority and we must recognize Him as the sovereign Lord.

Whether we are aware of it or not, we are building something through our daily lives. Are we building on rock or on sand? If we hear His words and put them into practice, our foundation is sure.

We can be acquainted with a person and still not know him. As with our earthly relationships, we get to know Jesus through spending time with Him in conversation. This is a life long endeavor that begins at the cross.

False teachers prey on the immature, the untrained and the gullible, but we can recognize them by their bad fruit if we remain diligent and study God's word.

Is it true that there are many ways to God? The Bible says there are two gates, one wide, one narrow. We all start out "by default" on the wide path that leads to destruction. But there is a narrow gate that leads to heaven. It is the only way and it is Jesus.

Bold action is required of the believer to see which doors God will open. Sometimes we give up too early and sometimes we pursue our own will, but when God opens the door, no man can close it.

Two great universal needs are to know God and to be right with Him through salvation. To think correctly about our salvation, we must remember that we were redeemed first and foremost for Christ and not for ourselves.

We can not have a relationship with the living God until we seek Him. And when we seek Him with all our hearts--forsaking all else--He will be found and will shower us with righteousness.

We should ask God for what we desire, but first we must have a relationship with Him. Through that relationship, He will conform our desires to His.

We tend to recognize in others that which we do ourselves. Look first at yourself and you may have more compassion for your neighbor. When we do criticize, we should do it constructively.

Cast your worries on Jesus for He cares for you. No problem is beyond His ability and no trouble is beneath His concern.
