God wants to bless us by multiplying the little we have to make it much. Yet, whatever He blesses, He breaks. Are we willing to be broken?

The Jews rejected Joseph and he saved them from death later on. They rejected Moses, and Moses led them out of captivity. As Stephen reminds them of this history, and how they went on to reject Jesus, they put Stephen to death, scattering the church and leading to further spreading of the word.

Charles Spurgeon said that he believes that a very large majority of church goers are merely unthinking slumbering worshipers of an unknown god. Like the men of Athens, they are religious, but lack relationship with the one true God.

Fear of man keeps us from sharing Jesus with others. If we have a relationship with Christ, we can share our personal story and experience more easily. But if we deny Him, what will Jesus do?

Jesus had compassion on the people who were being harassed and had no one to show them the way. The harvest we are to reap is these lost people. Pray for opportunity and make the most of each one granted.
