Christ View Versus World View

What does it mean? What does it look like? Saul found out, and he didn't think it was a part of him. Will you put yourself to the test?

We humans are really into appearances: cars, models, designer clothing, jewelry, hairstyles, you name it. Ever think about it or wonder why? Let's find out why and if it matters or not. The answers may surprise you.

Eve and Cain received the same Truth and instruction from the Lord, and WE need to receive and heed it, too! It's the difference between eternal life and eternal death. AND it just might surprise you where you may "think" you are headed.

I saw a billboard sign that, unfortunately, was spot on! It said something like, "Real Christians Obey Jesus." There is so much casualness, or non-salvation, or loss of the love we had at first, or seared consciences or something else going on.

Discernment is needed in this age, in these last days which are upon us! There are true and false speakers who claim to be messengers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen to what He is warning us about.

Having heard, by way of reminder, what King Jesus told us about two millennia ago concerning the last days and the mark we must not take, let us hear what God Himself says about HIM being our inheritance, our portion, our allotment. PLEASE, PLEASE listen to ALL of this episode-- carefully, thoughtfully and committedly; believers and unbelievers alike. It concerns ALL of us, globally.

As sons and daughters of God, we all have areas in our lives that need refocusing and Christ has set the bar that we need to get back to. He can do what we can't, and His grace and power are readily available. We have often, as individuals and as His church, lowered that bar by our casualness and comfortable heart and mind attitudes.

We are LOVED beyond measure as His creation, but we walk around seeing ourselves in a much different light and with a much different perspective than we should. If we don't react to this message with a change of that view, we will die--eternally and so unnecessarily!!!

This is a topic very relevant to both believers and unbelievers, alike. James says to be Doers, not just Hearers. Hear, Listen, Receive and Heed. Brothers and sisters, get ready to be challenged and changed as you COOPERATE with the Holy Spirit!

In order get into Heaven after we die, we have to hit the bullseyes in our lives 100% of the time. We have to be perfect. We are not! We can all agree on that even if humans set the standard. But we don't, God Almighty does. So, what are we to do?

From building a physical temple through Zerubbabel, to being built INTO a spiritual house through Jesus and His Spirit. Haggai has some great words for us concerning this must, this admonition from the Lord of Hosts!

Let's look at what is an eye-opening education from our Lord and Teacher Jesus Christ. He takes us back to Genesis after the flood to allow us to see something very important. And it requires a response.

The purpose behind physical, intentional pain, for the adult and for the child, and its primary goal is spiritual.

Have you ever wondered why the word "offense" is so widely used today? Father God revealed this to me in a way I hadn't thought about before. Please listen to what He has to explain to us, maybe to you personally. 

Please listen in to what the Lord is revealing to us that I-- and probably you-- didn't know. It's important! It might be a hard habit to break, but we have to and should.

Would the wine at Cana ever turn back into water? Would the leaping beggar go back to being lame? Would Bartimaeus return to being blind? Would the right-minded, calm, clothed and quiet man ever resemble his former insane, wild, naked and shouting ways? Not if a transformation in the power of Jesus Christ had truly taken place. What about you? Do the descriptors honestly fit you today?

The Lord is our Guide, our Shepherd, our Leader-- not our feelings and emotions. But, whether we realize it or not, we submit ourselves to them in that regard more than we think. Please listen in and allow Him to speak to you.

You ARE your brother's keeper. You ARE supposed to speak the truth in love. You ARE a watchman for your siblings in Christ, and they for you. Love that has been, and is being, perfected DOES cast out ALL fear. Some honest, true, real, transparent and practical words from my life to yours.

The Lord gave us this wonderful reminder about this time of year and what it means to be a CHRISTian.

We may hear this frequently, but it's not the end of the story. There are some important truths embedded in the Bible concerning this oft-quoted phrase, as well as some implications that are many times left out, but that need to be proclaimed. I hope this will clarify some things for all of us.

The Church (not the building, but Jesus' flock) has not only been saved and is being sanctified for His use, but has a gift or gifts the Spirit has apportioned to it to operate in, to edify and strengthen itself, and to be used for His Kingdom and glory. Find out what this means and what you should do about it.

The continuation of the first portion that exhorts and teaches us that, as Christians, we should not be content to be ignorant of, or apathetic towards, the gift or gifts the Spirit apportions to those who are walking in His ways.

You need to hear this Word from the Spirit and heed it. So do I. This is not a light thing; it can and does and will affect others (not just you). Thank the Lord for caring and loving us enough to point this out. It's not always something we see, at least not as we should. Thanks!

You need to hear what the Lord God is saying to me, and to YOU, on this subject, even if you think it doesn't apply to you, or that it's a Christian no-brainer.
