All of the work of those who build upon the foundation of Christ will be tested by fire. That which is solid and true will survive, and that which isn't will be destroyed. Trust the Lord to determine the quality of the work. 

Paul told the Corinthians that they were acting like mere mortal men. They weren't like the spiritual men and women they had become in Christ. We need to hear the same thing. 

God reveals the truth about who he is through His Spirit. He testifies to our spirits that God is indeed the Lord of glory. 

Paul did not want the Corinthians' faith to rest in human reasoning or wisdom. Instead, he wanted tit to rest in a demonstration of God's Spirit and power. Our faith is rooted in the same Spirit of power. 

God chose to shame the wise of this world by saving and working through the lives of those the world considers foolish. May he be praised for his goodness to us. 

For those who are perishing, the message of the cross of Christ is foolishness, but to those who are being saved, it is the power of God. We experience God's power in our salvation. 

The Corinthian congregation was divided because of their spiritual pride. Paul strongly reminded them that they were to be united in the mind of Christ. We are to be unified in Christ as well. 

Are you thankful for God's grace working in the lives of your friends and family? Are you thankful that it is enriching and preserving them until Christ returns? 

Paul greeted the Corinthian Church warmly when he addressed them as an apostle of Christ. Like us, they were part of a local congregation and part of the much larger church of Jesus Christ. 

Jesus told Peter to focus on the Lord's calling on his life instead of worrying about what would happen to John or any other disciple. We are called to do the same. 

Jesus restored Peter to his place among the disciples. No matter how far we stray, we can be restored by grace through faith. 

Jesus served his disciples breakfast after his resurrection. They recognized him when they caught a large amount of fish miraculously. He provides for his people. 

John wrote his Gospel so that we might read it and believe that Jesus is the Christ and so receive eternal life. 

Thomas needed confirmation of Jesus' resurrection. Jesus graciously gave it to him. He'll do the same for us. 

Jesus appeared to his disciples on the night of his resurrection. He came through the wall into the locked upper room. He confirmed his power and ability to be raised from the dead. 

Mary Magdalene didn't recognize Jesus until he called her by name. Then, she knew him. The same is true for all of us. 

When the women arrived at Jesus' tomb, they found it empty. He had risen. Peter and John found the same thing when they arrived at the tomb. What did that mean to them? 

Joseph and Nicodemus loved their Master. They wanted to give him the burial he deserved. 

Jesus' death fulfilled the Scripture's promises. He is the Messiah who gave himself to save his people from their sins. 

Jesus was mocked by the soldiers who crucified him because they were ignorant of who he was. So were the Jews, even though the Old Testament Prophets predicted everything he said and did. 

Jesus was crucified between two thieves. They deserved their punishment; he did not. But, he did if for us and them. 

The opposition to Christ and his kingdom often attacks Christians where it hurts the most. They did it with Pilate and they do it with us. 

Pilate was weak. He didn't want to crucify Jesus, but he didn't have the guts to release him. However, he had a part to play in the divine plan to offer Christ for us. 

Jesus's kingdom is not of this world. It's spiritual, and it's full of truth. 

The Jews were hypocrites. They were more concerned with their religious rules while breaking the commands of God and turning their Messiah over to the Romans.
