As we look at Isaiah 53 we will see how “Jesus Came to Be Our Atoning Sacrifice.” And we will see this in three parts. First, we will see Our Need for Atonement. Second, we will see Our Picture for Atonement. And, third, we will see Our Personal Atonement through Jesus Christ.

In Ephesians 5:25-32 we see three ways that “Jesus Came to Give Us the Love Our Hearts Most Need.” First, Christ came to give us sacrificially committed love. Second, Christ came to give us transformational “grace and truth” love. Third, Christ came to give us infinitely satisfying love.

As we look at Jesus’s words in John 8:31-38, we will see that, “Jesus Came to Set Us Truly Free,” and he shows us three essential steps finding true freedom. First, Knowing Our Need for True Freedom. Second, Knowing Our Key to True Freedom. And, third, Knowing Our Way to True Freedom

As we examine John 14:19-29 we will see how “Jesus Came to Bring God’s Peace into Our Lives,” with two foundations for experiencing God’s peace in our hearts today. First, We Find God’s Peace Through Knowing the Person of Jesus. Second, We Find God’s Peace Through Keeping the Words of Jesus

As we examine 1 Corinthians 15:1-20, we will see that "Jesus Christ Rose from the Dead to Make Our Faith and Our Hope Gloriously Real," in three ways: 1st) Jesus Rose to Make Our Faith Really Historical, 2nd) Jesus Rose to Make Our Redemption Really Possible, And, 3rd) Jesus Rose to Make Our Lives Really Matter

Jesus Came to Make Us Who We Were Meant to Be and as we examine Romans 8:18-30, we will see two truths: 1st) Our Greatest Need is for Us to Become Who God Made Us to Be, 2nd) we will see Our Greatest Hope is that God Has Promised He is Making Those Who Love Him All We Were Meant to Be.

As we look at what Paul shares in 2 Corinthians 8:1-9, 9:6-11, we see that Jesus Came to Make Us Cheerfully Generous People by giving us three heart attitudes. 1st, Jesus came to give us an attitude of grace. 2nd, Jesus came to give us an attitude of trust. 3rd, Jesus came to give us the attitude of himself, the attitude of Christ.

As we examine Galatians 3:24-4:7, we will unpack the beauty of how “Jesus Came to Adopt Us Into God’s Loving Family,” through three questions. 1st) Why We Need God’s Adoption?, 2nd), How We Get God’s Adoption?, And, 3rd), How God’s Adoption Changes Us?

As we look at Acts 2:22-28, we will see three ways "Jesus Came to Give Us Hope Stronger than the Worst Suffering.” First, Jesus gives us God’s wisdom and purpose in suffering. Second, Jesus gives us undefeatable hope in suffering. Third, Jesus gives us God’s reassuring presence in suffering.

As we look at 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 and a few other texts, we will discover the beauty of the truth that “Jesus himself Came to Restore Our Relationship with God and Others.” We will be impressed with two truths. In the parable of the unforgiving servant, we will see how, “Jesus Came to Make Us Forgiven and Forgiving People.” This week, we will focus on the first half of this parable and, “How Our Forgiveness is Transformed When We Understand the Cost of God’s Forgiveness.” Next week we will look at “How Our Forgiveness Is Transformed When We Extend God’s Forgiveness to Others.”

As Jesus unpacks the rich young ruler's heart’s true treasure, we will also see how “Jesus Came to Reveal Our Heart’s True Treasure… and point us to the true treasure we most need” We will ask two questions. First, What Do We Need to Do to Find God’s Life-Giving Treasure? And, Second, How Jesus Came to Bring Us Life-Giving Treasure?

As we look at two prayers that Paul gives in Ephesians 1 and 3, we will be discussing, “Our Greatest Need: Experiencing God’s Life-Changing Treasure," answering three questions. 1st) What is the treasure we most need? 2nd) Why do we need this treasure? And, 3rd), How do we get this treasure?

As we examine the second part of John 8:1-11, Jesus will show us how God’s sense of mercy also changes our hearts in four ways… 1st) When we realize God takes sin seriously, 2nd) When We Realize Jesus Came to Pay the Debt for Our Sins, 3rd) When We Bring Our Sins to Christ and Find Mercy, 4th) When Christ Calls Us to Obedience and Growth

In John 8:1-11, Jesus transforms our understanding of justice and mercy and show us that in him, God has come to bring us both in the way we most need. (Part 1) First, we will see, How Jesus transforms our sense of justice us with God's sense of justice. (Part 2) And, second, we will see, How Jesus transforms our sense of mercy with God’s mercy.

In John 7, especially verses 33-39, we will be discussing “Streams of Living Water and the Satisfied Heart.” In this powerful scene, Jesus will show us three things. First, How God alone Can Satisfy Our Deepest Thirsts Second, How God in Jesus Came to Satisfy Our Deepest Thirsts And, Third, How We Can Experience God's Overflowing Life

And as we look at John 7, and the book of John as a whole, we find that John is asking us again the big question, “What will you do with Jesus?” To help us process that question, we will ask two questions. First, How Does Jesus Force Us to Respond to Him? Second, How Are You (Personally) Responding to Jesus Right Now?

Jesus will show us the difference between Bad, Life-Taking Judgment, and Good, Life-Giving Judgment. First, Jesus will show us, “The Problem of Bad Judgment: Judging According to What Appears Right to Us.”Second, Jesus will show us, “The Solution to Bad Judgment: Judging According to the Heart of What God Says.”

We will be discussing three ways we can obey the call of “Overcoming with Christ’s Love in an Age of Hate.” 1st) We Overcome Hate with Humility, Because, in Christ, God Loves Us Even When We Don’t Deserve It, 2nd) We Overcome Hate with Genuine Love, Because, in Christ, God Overcomes Our Opposition with Genuine Love, And, 3rd) We Overcome Hate with Good, Because, in Christ, God is Good and Just in...

When Jesus’s disciples get frustrated with the request of some parents, Jesus himself uses the situation to turn around and humble them, teaching them a very important spiritual lesson about how we too need to, “Come to God Like Children.” 1st) Jesus passionately wants us to know that all are welcome to come to him, especially those we consider unworthy. 2nd) Jesus passionately wants us to know th...

And as we look at Jesus’s teaching in the temple, we focus on three key ideas. First, we will see, that You Can Be Close to Jesus Without Really Knowing Him. Second, We will see Jesus Give Us a Test for Finding God, by asking the question, “What Do You Really Want?” And, third, we will try to apply all these things to our own hearts.

In Jesus’s surprising response to his brothers we see is Jesus gives us two keys to understanding why God’s work isn’t often more obvious in their lives and in our own. First, Jesus Says God’s Work Faces Opposition from Us, No Matter How Obvious to Us. And, second, Jesus Came to Make God’s Work Obvious to Us, No Matter the Opposition from Us.

Jesus shows us three struggles and marks of what it means to truly follow God. 1) Be Prepared: Because truly following God is always hard. 2) Be Humble: Because truly following God is impossible without the help of God's Spirit. 3) Be Faithful: Because Jesus is the reason we endure it all.

Jesus shows us that the food we don't want is the food we most need in three ways, first by remembering what we crave most will not give us lasting life, second, that the life-giving food God wants to give is, at first, offensive to us, and third to receive God's life-giving food by feeding on the work of Jesus for you.
