For us to fast the right way, there are certain things that we must do.

There is a right way and a wrong way to fast. So today we’ll look at ‘how NOT to fast’.

just like when Jesus talked about prayer, he said ‘when you fast’ and not ‘if you fast’ which means fasting is something we are meant to be doing. So prayer and fasting are two things that go hand in hand

This is the reason why we pray!

But is it God that leads us into temptation?

Many people pray this prayer with their lips but not from their heart. So how should we pray for forgiveness?

This prayer means much more than what it says!

What does it mean to pray this prayer? So many of us recite these words without actually thinking about what God’s will is and with no intention of seeing to it that God’s will is done.

The second petition in the Lord’s Prayer is ‘thy kingdom come’. But what does this mean?

When we pray, the first thing is to acknowledge who we are praying to. Jesus said we should pray to God the father so we must approach God in faith as our loving heavenly father.

Jesus was teaching the disciples how to pray and He started by giving them tips or guidelines on what to do when they want to pray, Jesus talked about praying in secret and avoiding empty babbling. What do they mean?

Jesus said when we want to pray, we shouldn’t be like the hypocrites. Am I a hypocrite when I go to pray ??

Most of us wait till we have a problem or we are faced with a challenging situation before we start praying but those kind of prayers are not effective prayers. There is no ‘fire brigade’ approach to prayer. If we want to get results, we need to do the time!

Prayer has so many wonderful benefits but if we don’t pray, we will be losing out on so much that God has planned for us. So today we’ll be looking at various reasons why it’s important for us to pray.

We cannot have any meaningful relationship with God without prayer so if you want to know the quality of the relationship you have with God, check out the quality of your prayers.

It’s not possible for anyone to know how God will choose to manifest His healing power in any situation but we know without a doubt that He has made healing available to us His children.

God uses the foolish things of this world to put the wise to shame. He uses the weak things of this world to put the powerful to shame.

God’s criteria for selecting people to work for Him is different from human criteria. But do you qualify?

The heart is the most unexpected crime scene but so may crimes are committed there!

There are so many ways that God’s ways differ from our ways and we will continue studying them this week. So how does God determine the richest men in the world?

God’s ways may not always make sense but we need to trust and obey Him.

God’s ways are truly higher than our ways because it’s not the size of our gift that matters most to God.

God does not look at appearances but searches the heart.

Don’t keep a record of wrong but forgive even as Jesus Christ has forgiven you
