Most of us have at one time or the other tried to fit in. From primary school to college, being one of the ‘cool kids’ is top priority and even as we get older, blending in with the crowd and being liked and accepted by others is very important to us. But as Christians are we really meant to fit in with the world around us?

One advice we get all the time is ‘just be yourself’ which sounds great. However, the bible doesn’t encourage us to just be ‘ourselves’ so what does the bible tell us?

Proverbs‬ ‭16:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, Than to divide the spoil with the proud.”
