Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ “Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.“ When God gives you a vision, that vision cannot be achieved outside of God. You can’t do by your power or might, except by total dependence on God.

Habakkuk‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ”Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.“ ‭‭ What’s God’s vision for your life in that place or position you’re in? God gave Nehemiah a burden, he identified God’s vision and he ran with it.

1 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬ ”For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.“ As believers, God gives us spiritual gifts that we are to use to demonstrate His power and bring glory to His name. We see this manifest in Daniel & Joseph’s lives.

Psalms‬ ‭75‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬ ”This I know: the favor that brings promotion and power doesn’t come from anywhere on earth, for no one exalts a person but God, the true judge of all..” We all want to be promoted. But what kind of promotion should we be striving for and why?

Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭36‬ ‭NLT‬‬ ”Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.“ Patience and Perseverance are virtues that are no longer celebrated or coveted in our current generation but we need them to fulfil God’s vision for our lives!

2 Samuel‬ ‭6‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “The Ark of the Lord remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and his entire household.“ In 2 Samuel 6:7, God struck Uzzah dead because of the way he handled the Ark of God. Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ says ”And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.“ The word ‘grieve’ in this verse means “to cause to feel sorrow, pain, sadness, unhappiness, or to ‘break his heart’. So in what ways do we grieve the Holy Spirit?

Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭ERV‬‬ ”..People say that you are alive, but really you are dead. Wake up! Make yourselves stronger before what little strength you have left is completely gone. I find that what you do is not good enough for my God.“ ‭‭ This was God’s verdict concerning the church in Sardis but can this also be God’s verdict concerning you?

As New Testament believers the bible tells us that God’s presence is on the inside of us through the Holy Spirit. The way we respond to the Holy Spirit will determine how active God’s presence is. ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬ ‭AMP‬‬ says: ”Do not quench [subdue, or be unresponsive to the working and guidance of] the [Holy] Spirit.“

John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ ”I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.“ Without God’s presence, we cannot bear the right fruit and we can do nothing. When God’s presence is lost, purpose is lost!

Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭AMP‬‬ ”No man will be able to stand before you to oppose you as long as you live.
