The spectacle of God's love that we see throughout Hosea should jar us out of any confusion regarding God's love. When we see God for who he really is; and grasp his peculiar love, he will begin to have more weight in our lives. He will begin to matter more. He won't just be a part of our lives, but all our lives.

As a fixed point of reference on the horizon can fend off seasickness, similarly a fixed point of reference in our journey through 2021 and beyond can fend off something much worse than seasickness-spiritual ineffectiveness. Our goal must be to make Jesus our continual reference point on the horizon of all our lives.

In 2021 we want to remain firmly fixed on Jesus - together. How do each of us do that? By building our lives, our futures, our hopes, our EVERYTHING on JESUS! (Service begins about 3 min into the video)

There are 2 Kings in the Christmas story - both displaying their power but in VASTLY different ways. And only one of them would truly conquer the greatest threat to mankind. Jesus conquered in a way NO one could have expected.

Although we have many different interests and backgrounds and even convictions in many areas, we are united in Jesus because we all have had the experience of being saved by His death and resurrection! (Service begins approx 1min into the video)

Christian—hear this: God loves you and the death of Jesus proves it. His love for you is not because of you but because of him. His love for you is rooted in an historical event, not in our obedience. It is this one faith that we all share that unites us together above all else. Humans are hope-fueled creatures. That is why it so very important for us to invest our hope in the right place. A loss of hope is a death sentence. And misplaced hope is even worse.
