Fundamentally, the idea of Jesus being King of kings and Lord of lords means that there is no higher authority. His reign over all things is absolute and inviolable. Jesus is the promised King who was to come to reign over His people, the Jews and the nations.

Our experience with our earthly fathers can in many ways shape our view of God as a Father – either He is policing or passive (intimidation, rejection, abandonment, conditional love, anger, and so on…) No matter our experience, we’ll see through scriptures a clearer picture of the Heavenly Father.

God is the ultimate authority who establishes right and wrong, sees the hidden truths of every situation, and brings decisive, impartial and righteous justice (freedom to the innocent and condemnation to the guilty). Believers find great comfort in this truth, knowing that He sees all hidden motives and will ultimately vindicate the oppressed and judge the world with perfect justice.

In the New Testament context, God is revealed as a near relative who rescues us from the paws of sin. This He has accomplished through the death of His Son Jesus Christ and redemption is no longer a God-Israel affair but a principle that redeems the whole world from sin.

"The LORD is my Shepherd" signifies a personal, trusting relationship where God provides, guides, protects, cares for and restores His people.

Jehovah Ori (or Yahweh Ori), meaning “The LORD My Light,” is a Hebrew name reveals God as the one who dispels darkness, fear, and confusion, guiding believers along a path to salvation and righteousness.

When running out of strength, it is essential to distinguish between physical and mental/emotional and spiritual exhaustion, allowing for targeted recovery through rest, proper nutrition, and hydration or renewed focus - God.

In the Bible, describing God as a "Rock" is a profound metaphor for stability, strength, and security. It signifies that God is an immovable, dependable hiding place providing safety and protection. This imagery also highlights His eternal nature, faithfulness, and role as the firm foundation for life and salvation.
