Sales taxes are short in Sullivan County, and there’s been talk about an increase in taxes by 30%. Composting in bulk is now available in the County. Several farmers in Ulster and Orange counties are asking for the federal government to approve an emergency declaration after a deep freeze killed their crops. Ulster County is working to connect all of their emergency communications together.
