This week to celebrate St Patrick's day I have put together a feast of Irish stories and fishy tales from my podcast guests across Ireland. Enjoy and Slainte!

Following on from Part 1, John continues his chat telling of his passion for the River Towy. He has now moved back to Wales and is keen to get to fish new waters as well as rivers he fished as a boy. We chat about his recent award with the American Fly fishing Hall of fame, a new personal goal he has of getting into oil painting and his continued passion and work for Fishing for Schools.

I have been asked a few times lately for more ferox content so thought time for another Lough Corrib ferox episode. I give some tips on when to fish for them at evening time and what to expect and a few stories to whet your appetite for the coming season. This week I travel up to the Midlands once again to chat with English International Craig Barr. He talks about his Fly business, Flash Attack which he has been running for over 20 years. This week I travel down to Hampshire to chat with Peter Cockwill at his home at Dever Springs. He has been an angling journalist for over 30 years and has many notable achievements to his name including catching the first UK 20lb rainbow trout, a 70lb King Salmon on a fly plus a 5lb Arctic Grayling caught in Alaska. He also talks of his new book ‘Fly fishing trout in the small waters’.
