In the first two verses of Romans 5 Paul tells us what we get with justification.  In other words, he answers the question "what's the big deal with being righteous anyway?" or "What do we really get out of this?"  What we get is peace with God!

A short thought for your consideration. "How's your walk?" It's a question that is loaded with expectation but how we measure the quality of our walk with God can tell us a lot about how we are experiencing Him.  

Continuing through the book of Romans we hit on chapters 2, 3, & 4 to see in Paul's understanding of the Good News that faith has taken the place of any other mechanism to bring righteousness with Abraham as the example of choice.  This is a key understanding of the gospel and yet likely a new idea for many in the church of Rome.

Paul continues writing to the church in Rome about his understanding of the good news of Jesus.  In the last verses of chapter 1 he makes it clear that God has allowed humanity the choice of belief and the consequences of unbelief.
